Fight with me.
Silence has never loved me the way your anger does.
Woke up hoping. Reality said no. Went back to sleep a little more broken.
No one tells you that sometimes surviving starts long before the disaster. It starts with preparing for something you never should have to prepare for

âWe are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. Itâs a death trap.â
â Anthony Hopkins
âYou cannot make everyone think and feel as deeply as you do. This is your tragedy ⌠because you understand them, and they do not understand you.â
â Daniel Saint
The Ghost Who Stayed
Let me tell you a story.
You might think itâs about the girl.
It isnât.
Itâs about the boy who diedâŚ
and the ghost who never left.
He stayed because he couldnât bear the thought of her crying alone.
He thought heâd watch over her.
Protect her.
Guide her through the grief until she smiled again.
He was wrong.
The first night she came home without him,
she didnât even make it to the bedroom.
She collapsed onto the kitchen floor,
still wearing the clothes sheâd worn to identify his body.
She screamed until her voice disappeared.
She clawed at the floor,
at her chest,
at the wedding ring still wrapped around her finger.
âNoâŚâ
âNoâŚâ
âNoâŚâ
Over and over,
like if she said it enough,
God might decide Heâd made a mistake.
His ghost fell beside her.
He wrapped invisible arms around a woman who could no longer feel him.
âIâm here.â
âIâm here.â
âIâm so sorry.â
But ghosts cannot hold broken people together.
They can only watch them fall apart.
Morning came.
The children woke up.
She wiped the tears from her face,
painted a smile over a soul that had already died,
and made breakfast.
She packed lunches.
Braided hair.
Tied shoes.
She kissed foreheads.
She laughed when they laughed.
She answered every âMom?â
Like nothing had happened.
His heart shattered all over again.
Because he knew.
The woman standing in that kitchen
had died with him.
This was only the body she left behind.
Every day she survived.
Every night she unraveled.
She would crawl into their bed,
reaching for the space beside her.
EveryâŚ
SingleâŚ
Night.
Even though she already knew
it would be cold.
She still reached.
As if somehow,
one night,
sheâd touch his hand instead of empty sheets.
She buried her face into his pillow.
The smell of him disappeared long before she was ready.
StillâŚ
She searched for it.
Like drowning people search for air.
Some nights she whispered.
âI miss you.â
Some nights she begged.
âI canât do this.â
And some nightsâŚ
She screamed at God until sunrise.
âWhy him?â
âWhy not me?â
âYou took the wrong one.â
âI donât want tomorrow.â
âPleaseâŚâ
âPlease let me die.â
His ghost screamed with her.
He begged Heaven to answer.
He begged God to let him trade places.
He wouldâve died a thousand more times
if it meant sheâd laugh again.
But Heaven stayed silent.
So he watched.
He watched her stop eating because food tasted like guilt.
He watched her stop sleeping because dreams only reminded her of waking up alone.
He watched her stare at his pictures until sunrise,
memorizing every wrinkle,
every freckle,
every smile she was terrified of forgetting.
He watched birthdays come.
She bought his favorite cake anyway.
Lit one candle.
Sang Happy Birthday through sobs so violent she could barely breathe.
Then blew it out herself.
He watched anniversaries.
She still wore her ring.
Still spoke to him in the car.
Still turned to tell him about her dayâŚ
before remembering.
Every.
Single.
Time.
He watched pieces of her disappear.
The girl who danced barefoot in the kitchenâŚ
Gone.
The woman who laughed until she snortedâŚ
Gone.
The sparkle in her eyesâŚ
Gone.
HopeâŚ
Gone.
She wasnât healing.
She was simply learning how to bleed without making a sound.
People called her strong.
He wanted to scream at them.
Strong?
No.
Strong is lifting something heavy.
She was carrying a coffin no one else could see.
Every breath hurt.
Every sunrise felt cruel.
Every heartbeat felt like betrayal.
Because his had stoppedâŚ
and somehow hers hadnât.
The cruelest part wasnât watching her cry.
It wasnât hearing her beg God to let her die.
It wasnât watching her collapse on the bathroom floor because she found one of his old shirts hidden in the laundry.
The cruelest partâŚ
was watching her slowly stop being herself.
Grief didnât steal her all at once.
It was patient.
It took her laugh first.
Then her sleep.
Then her appetite.
Then her dreams.
Then her future.
Then the light in her eyes.
Until one dayâŚ
the woman staring back from the mirror
looked exactly like the one heâd fallen in love withâŚ
but there was nobody home anymore.
She had become a ghost too.
Only hers still had a heartbeat.
And if ghosts could breakâŚ
if souls could die twiceâŚ
his did.
Every night he whispered,
âI love you.â
Every night she whispered,
âTake me with you.â
Neither prayer
was ever answered.
So he stayed.
Watching.
Loving her.
Breaking with her.
Waiting for the day
she wouldnât have to carry this pain anymore.
Because the accident didnât kill one person.
It killed two.
One was buried beneath the earth.
The otherâŚ
kept breathing anyway.

I carry so much love for you that sometimes looking at you feels unbearable, as if my heart wasn't made to hold this much of it.
Its okay (I cried all night and all day bc of it)
not to flirt or anything, but iâd educate myself on your interests just so we could talk about them.
One of my many love languages..
She doesn't want sex all the time. Sometimes she just craves pain to calm her demons. Sometimes it's all about grabbing her hair and pulling it hard to remind her that she belong to me. Sometimes it's just a hand around the neck to remind her to focus on breath and slow down. Sometime it's just pinning down the hand and showing you are safe with me. Sometimes it's just tight slaps around her ass and titts to reboot her overwhelmed mental system.
Not sure I'm cute enough to get away with being this mentally ill
