WiFi has changed the way we access the Internet. Before this happened, online access meant network access from home, school, office fees, or Internet cafes. These days it is very different with WiFi. If you want more good wifi names you can read this article.
Now you can use the internet wherever there is a wifi signal. If you are not sure what it is about, read on. How can I connect to a wifi network?
If you have a portable computer like a laptop, you must first check if your laptop is WiFi enabled. Most newer versions have a built-in WiFi detector and therefore detect any nearby wireless network. If this is not the case for you, you can buy a WLN adapter that can connect to the USB port on your computer.
You need to install all the software that comes with your wifi adapter. Then check if the drivers can detect the existing WiFi network.
The WiFi icon should appear when you change your laptop to a WiFi-enabled area. Most operating systems open a dialog that asks you to select a network to connect to. If necessary, ask the system administrator or the person responsible for the password.
Some older PCs and laptops will not be able to detect the WiFi network, unless you use the WiFi adapter and install the software.
If multiple WiFi networks are available at your location, they will be listed in the dialog box and your signal strength will also be shown. The more frequent the signal, the better and better the network connection.
However, some networks are private and a password will be required before you can connect. If you do not have a password, you will not be able to join these networks. Once you have selected the WiFi network, click the connect button and you should be able to access the Internet.
