Nobody can see my thoughts or emotions

uh oh it's almost August !

We have this interesting situation where we basically no longer have privacy nor the expectation of privacy, but we also don't have community or meaningful connection with others, so we're all simultaneously both completely exposed and absolutely alone, and please understand that when I say this situation is "interesting", what I in fact mean is that it's "nightmarish and I wish I could wake up"

I wish he understood…

My hobbies get more attention because they don’t hurt me. My hobbies don’t say mean things or snap and get snarky at my ideas bc I didn’t present it in a particular way. My hobbies don’t sprout resentment when I do something wrong or forget to communicate.

People are cruel, both purposefully and not. Hobbies are neither. It’s my safe bubble, even if it means I’m alone in it..
