The Implied Horrors(TM) that happen inbetween these two pictures... my poor boys... :((((( That- that feeling when you only realize how much you loved him after he's already dead and gone and it's too late to do anything about those feelings you just have to live with now :'D Genuinely, the doomed yaoi is making me sad. Fictional gay vampires should not make me feel this emotionally devastated, it's not ok. These drawings were not done out of joy, but out of sorrow. :( The fact that Scott and Avid mirror Owen and Louis just. Drive a stake through my heart, why dont'cha????????? Like-- Owen lost Louis immediately after getting attached to him due to the human's hatred and then proceeded to grieve and mourn for 200 years (+ commit mass murder) And THEN he thought it was a good idea to kill Avid immediately after Scott really started to get attached to him due to his own personal grudges and anger????? And he DOESN'T worry about Scott wanting to murder him after?????

I hate them. <3

The good ending is Scott kills everyone except Shelby and the two of them get to live as roommates happily ever after :D

I saw so many comments about how the *Golden* Play Button was "made in the Golden Cheese Kingdom" or how Golden Cheese would immediately steal it, and you know what? Based, completely agree, simply too good of a joke NOT to make.

On a more serious note, though, absolutely amazing milestone Devsisters! I adore this game and it makes me really happy to see such a big milestone be hit. I also didn't choose to draw this just because of how perfect the joke was, on a more personal note, Golden Cheese Cookie has been one of my favorite cookies ever since chapters 17 and 18 came out and my love for her has only grown with the added Beast-Yeast content. It brings me so much joy to make a doodle of her in honor of this! <3

Day 75 pt. 2, i thought i'd share some of the early sketches i did while scratching away at my LimL!martyn design, as a fun little expansion!

i really like these sketches especially since they focus in on the coral / urchin takeover part of his design, and the whole 3L and LimL parallel of martyn's character

i hadn't really decided on how his horn would look atp, since i had originally wanted his design to lean pretty heavy into his oceanic features ( that's why i initially gave him a coral-antler). but i ended up giving him faun-inspired legs in this sketch & that's what sparked the idea for a unicorn horn (even though it's not pictured here). i felt like that detail really pushed that he's still Martyn– Hand of the King– even if he himself has shifted into something more independent, more powerful. because no matter how much he tries to bury it, he never left those walls, he's still surrounded himself with them, even if it is just bamboo, even if he only feels the buzz of magic in his temples now, not his hands, he's still at Renchanting– and it sits heavy on his head, it's crowned him.

i think these are the first sketches i did of him with a 'unicorn horn' (though it's mainly just a simplified coral horn, with some coral-pieces off to the side)

otherwise, everything else was pretty much solidified (beyond his tail and fracture designs), and i'm really happy with how he came out! even though there are a few things i'd change now, i loved working on this guy
