at the risk of sounding like a fucking idiot i wish i could read more traditional books in a visual novel format. Not even with sprites or music or graphics its more so i wish i had the ability to click through text to see each line one at a time and choose a pace for it so i can reread the line and Consume It properly before moving onto the next. Alot of the time i have to reread sentences a few times before i feel confident ive processed it but with traditional books usually the larger blocks of text make it hard for me to do that (hypocrite i know since i can write long paragraphs), adhd issues. i like the ability to click through one line at a time and decide a pace for when the next lines will appear for me to read as well as the option to get a text backlog when i need it but otherwise it being relatively out of the way and not distracting. theres alot of things i want to read but its hard for me to properly feel like ive actually gotten it and processed it without alot of stress/having to reread entire pages over and over and whatnot because i get lost, to the point it sucks out any enjoyment from the story. So as much as i am a dweeb who likes anime art styles as well i also just really wish there was some kind of thing that could turn a traditional book into a click-through one line at a time thing.

i cant take screenshots on steam deck but i dont know why this character inexplicably looks drawn by someone trying really hard to imitate the danganronpa style. like the others are all clearly drawn by rui komatsuzaki having refined his art style very well but this stands out as lesser quality and more like someones fanganronpa
