notes on characters i hope to make a show about in the future

recently i went to an artist talk of one of the storyboarders of kpop demon hunters who recently created his own short film, and honestly i came out of it kind of terrified of the tv animated industry, but it seems like he got by on grants… please let my fate be better than this, and also please let me actually create this and not be stuck in preproduction hell for 10 years.

Once again back with some facts for my girly.

Violet Bleu💋

~Her birthdate is Feburary 14th 1910.

~She is lesbian! Though she hides this fact because it's the 1930s. Happy pride month btw by the time I post this

~She does have a lover named "Freddy Faux" (actual name Rosalie Reed) who's one of the riggers for the carnival and is actually a woman who disguises herself as a man so that they can be lovey dovey in public without the trouble that would come with it.

~Ran away from home when she was 8 to join the Mangia & Mangia Secret Show. Not because her parents were horrid or anything as they were very lovely people, she was just a very bratty child growing up... She still is a bit bratty even in her adult years.

~Headcanon voice for her would be Kathy-chan. Example being her cover of Devil's gonna getcha.

~Like I said before. If she existed in the game, she would teach Jack Pepper a neat trick that allows him to grab hold of enemies to fling them around using his tail and even offers up a friendly little one on one to help get him used to the mechanics. With the fight basically consisting of trying to knock the other off their feet. And this would be a few quips in which she would deliver during the fight.

Oh come now, detective. Did you really think good looks are the only thing that pull men in?

I'll sweep you off your feet... Quite literally!

Must be a dizzying display trying to keep up.

Dialogue after the fight:

Violet Bleu: That was quite fun! Saaay, maybe I could use you for an act or two to keep things fresh... Have you considered joining the Secret Show?

Jack Pepper: Sorry, but the circus life ain't for me. I already deal with enough clowns on a day to day basis.

Violet Bleu: Ah well. Suppose it was worth a shot.

heres something i worked on while deciding how i wanted to draw these two unmasked.. joshua/deadeye is @spring-dan 's oc!!

salem stayed mostly the same, though i did change her eyes to be gray-ish blue (although always very dialated.) wanted her to look absolutely deranged as well, that was decided from the start.

joshua in general was probably who changed the most in my art style before i figured out how i wanted to draw him, especially in his face shape.
