I’m all about trusting the authors but WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK! This book is not yet out and I am so mad and disappointed. Someone talk to me or idk defend KBR for me. Let me see the light in that darkness.  Akara and Sulli were my main ship since I read the first book in this series. Probably because Sulli is daughter of my other two favorite characters.  There is so much depth to Kitsulli and they just make sense more than any other couple in Like Us series considering how much time they spend together and how well they know one another. So why they are done so dirty? Sulli deserves so much better than that. MFM relationship with Banks? It was planned??? Was I reading different books the whole time? Even their pinterest boards don’t show anything hinting at it. (Or they weren’t when I last checked not sure now)   It changed from a great series by KBR to one to feed the fetishes which come one, there are so many books like that already on the marker. I wanted something else, something good and it is so hard to find it.    I’m still going to try to give it a chance. I want to see my girl Sulli happy. I’m just bit scared about what’s going to come and how they’re going to represent  LGBTQ+ community in this one. They are on thin ice, considering that it seems out of character for Sulli and Akara with Banks in the middle of it all? How?!

She stretches her left arm as though to say, that’s me.

I stroke my little girl’s cheek. “She named you Sullivan…”

Adam Sully would’ve loved it, which is why it fucking gets to me. I put my hand to my mouth. I wonder if the name was a spur of the moment idea or if she’s thought about it for a while.

“Dais.”

“Minnie,” I say quickly. “Minnie Meadows.” I have to warn him. “It’s silly.” Everything I’ve ever named has been on the side of quirky.He kisses me, the powerful movement rocking both of our bodies. Grinding together. Ryke. I hang onto his arms, bucking into him. His tongue naturally tangles with mine, his hands creating friction between my legs as much as our wandering limbs.

I barely hear him over the thump of my pulse. “It’s fucking cute.”
