“Really.” He managed to answer in between kisses this was something Augustus had not imagined would’ve happened in a million. Yes he had a few crushes here and there but nothing compared to the swarm of butterflies he got when he was around Kitty. Knowing love was frowned upon and thought as a weak emotion with Death eaters Augustus tried to fight the ever consuming notion that this felt right almost as if Kitty was the light he needed to show him a different side of the life he desperately wanted to escape. Not wanting to ruin whatever was blossoming between them he pushed his thoughts to the back of his mind and concentrated on the task at hand.

shifting his body weight so that he wasn’t suffocating Kitty, Augustus laid his chest against her body. Feeling her heartbeat against his sent a shiver up his spine. “What…happ..happened .. To being shy?” He joked through gasps as her inhaled her scent that made him want her even more. Now gripping her face Augustus kissed her intensely before moving his mouth to her neck and planting kisses along neck and collarbone gently nibbling on skin as he became intoxicated in the moment .

She giggled between kisses. The giddiness she felt was incredible, like nothing else she had ever felt before. It was like a wave of warmth crashing over her with each kiss. Could she be falling for him, too? It was possible. Kitty believed in love from a young age, having read about it in muggle fairy tales she'd managed to get her hands on. It was something that seemed to be missing from her life, but maybe Augustus was the answer to that.

She tried to shut off her thoughts and enjoy the intoxicating feeling of his body against hers. She blushed at his words before kissing him back eagerly. "You happened," She said as he attacked her neck with kisses. Her hands found their way into his hair, pulling him closer to her. "Mmm," she moaned out softly, biting her lip. She wasn't sure how far he was planning to go with her, but she was almost certain she wouldn't be stopping him.

Hey, I'll do my reply in a few hours when I get home. The last few days have been really busy and I'm working on creating a new rpg, so I've been doing a lot of stuff with that, too. But I will do my reply once I'm at home. :)

“My Pleasure” he said staring at her in awe, he wasn’t exactly sure why he was so drawn to her but there was no denying the fact she had worked a number on the cold hearted bastard. “You know there’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now” he said grinning mischievous at her. He wasn’t how far he would get with his intentions but he wanted to try. Besides what was the point of her coming if she wasn’t

game for any of the naughty things he had planned. Slowly leaning in towards her Augustus brushed his lips against hers before breaking away and smiling at her. ” You know something Kitty?” He asked completely letting his guard down “I think I might be falling you” he admitted normally this would be the last thing Augustus would confess too but he thought it was only fair that he let her in somewhat. After all she had bared so much of her ugly truths to him why not let see who he truly was when he wasn’t playing his normal game of charades. Stroking her cheek gently he proceeded to kiss her again this time longer than first one and more passionate.

When Augustus brushed his lips against her own, her face flushed deeply, not having enough time to even kiss him back before he pulled away. She bit her lip, looking down a bit shyly. But she looked back up when he admitted that he might be falling for her, her face not only turned a deeper red, but she smiled widely. "Really?" She asked quietly, unable to hide the excitement and joy in her voice. When he stroked her cheek and kissed her again, she quickly kissed him back greedily, not wanting to miss another chance. She wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss and pulling him closer to her as she leaned back against the couch.

"Okay" he said nodding as he waited for her to retrieve her things before taking hold of her hand and pulling her along as they made their way farther through the half empty library. Knowing that they were unlikely to be watched if they stayed quiet Augustus chose the restricted section to find shelter in. Making their way through a few rows of empty bookcases they came to what appeared to be an old hidden classroom that seemed to have been abandoned for quite some time. Pulling his wand from his pocket Augustus mumbled a simply spell and the rusty door cracked ajar. "Welcome to my fortress" he joked as he held the door open for Kitty to enter first.

Once they were both inside Augustus locked the door and placed a noise resistant charm around the room. Dim and dusty Augustus spared no expense showing off his impressive techniques as with a few small tweaks he had transformed the old classroom into a well furnished, warm and soft lit common room. Taking his bag and placing on the floor near the door Augustus walked over to the couch pulling Kitty gently along for the ride. “How is this he?” He asked trying not to sound overly eager

She let him guide her by the hand into the restricted section. She looked a bit confused, knowing that students weren't supposed to be back there with-out permission, but didn't protest. She watched as he opened the door with a spell and smiled widely at his joke before walking in.

She didn't say a word as she looked around the room, it was very dull and dark, not really her cup of tea. But as Augustus brought the room to life, she gave him a look of amazement. She was sure that had she been a muggle, she would of made a great actress. "It looks loads better. That was really amazing." She smiled as she sat down on the couch, still looking around the room a bit and then back at him. "Thank you, for bringing me here."

"It’s quite alright." Augustus whispered as he tried to console her. The sound of his heart thumped strongly against his chest as the aroma of her hair flooded his nostrils. Attempting to conceal his composure Augustus found himself becoming slightly aroused by their gently embrace. Yes, the timing was inappropriate but Augustus found himself no longer able to ignore the attraction he felt to the young girl who he now cradled in his arms.

From the moment they collided in the corridor Augustus could feel a slight magnetic pull towards the innocent, clumsy, girl who normally he wouldn’t of thought twice about. Kitty wasn’t the type he normally would’ve pined after, being she was somewhat plain and hadn’t appealed much to his personal gain. After, all for a side of him enjoyed males, but the more he found himself in her company the more she seemed to work her magic on him. Pulling back a bit so that he could take in her appearance he whispered. ” would you like to move to a more secluded area?” He asked feeling his manhood shift between stiff and soft as filthy thoughts now filled his mind.

It was funny to her, how nice it felt to be in his arms. Yes, she was an emotional mess at the moment, but she felt better around him. She didn't know why, but she did. When he asked her if she wanted to go somewhere else, she nodded. She was rather naive to his intentions, as she seemed to be around most of the opposite sex. "Yeah," She let out a teary-eyed laugh and wiped her eyes with her hands. 

She backed up a little more form him and grabbed her bag that sat next to the table, before looking at him, waiting for him to lead the way. That was who she liked to be in the presence of others, a follower. She found it easier to pretend to be a follower, a little more helpless and lost than she really was, in order to give them the false idea that she was not capable of doing anything without some sort of permission or approval, that she wasn't capable of being a spy for the other side.

Uncertain of what to say next Augustus just stood there for a moment before he realized that Kitty had reverted back into her original state in which he had found her in. “There..there” he whispered as he reached to pull her closer to him wrapping his arms around her tightly. So that they neatly smashed together, trying as hard as he could Augustus tried to control the images that now played before him. Innocent faces full of life and hope were now dim, stiff, and lifeless all because of ones lust for supreme power. His thoughts were rattled and now he felt a small pain grow within his chest as he now questioned if He was making the right choices, as the last bits of her story begun to sink in, of course Augustus knew that this war had many casualties but children ? Even that was enough to make him quiet his praise of the Dark Lord

Kitty buried her face in his shoulder and clung to him. Her chest was heaving with each sob. She tried to calm herself down, taking deep breaths when she could. She tried to focus on Augustus, on his arms being wrapped around her, on his body pressing against hers. She started to push the memories out of her mind. She sniffled and rested her forehead on his shoulder as she started to calm down. "I'm sorry," She said quietly, taking a shaky breath as more tears cascaded down her cheeks. Her sobbing had subsided, but there was nothing she could do about the tears.

Yeah, I guess. -She smiled a bit, grateful for the reassurance.- It isn’t something that you share over tea, I’m afraid, Augustus. The things he showed me this summer… -She bit her lip and shook her head.- I know that they’re the things that I’ll be seeing when I leave here and I know that he is just trying to prepare me so I can be like him. But, -She looked up at him.- I wasn’t ready for it. I just, how am I supposed to see those things and be okay? Maybe I’m weak and I should be okay with everything I saw, but…-She bit her lip while tears pricked her eyes again.- But how can I be okay with something that haunts me like this?

“I’m aware of that” he said nodding softly as she warned of the graphic details. “Are you planning on leaving me?” Augustus joked as the danger of tears threatened to resurface [he listened intensely as she went on, he knew all about the gruesome stories, the screams and pleas for mercy that went unanswered . And he couldn’t be more aroused by the thought of in just a few short months, he too would be amongst those who were the monsters in Kitty’s story] Your young you would be mental to be okay with that sort of nightmare, and your not weak! He meant this as he felt his blood start to boil. Kitty if anything your brave! You carry around and immense burden and hide it was well to protect your brother that’s something even the strongest Death Eater wish they could do he said smiling down at her.

She nodded, trying to take his words as positive things, but couldn't help wanting to tell him that she did not want to protect her brother, or be a Death Eater. She swallowed, holding those words back and finding new ones. "It took me a while to stop getting so broken up about seeing the people laying there." She wiped at her eyes. "He used to take me, every time there was an attack that he didn't think would be found so quickly. But at one, there was a little boy, and he couldn't of been more than six, Augustus." She let out a soft sob, covering her mouth with her hand. "I still see him, his little stuffed animal next to him, every time I close my eyes." She was losing it, she hadn't told anyway about that part in detail. "I know he was just trying to make sure that I'd be ready, when the time came, but..." She shrugged, putting her face in her hands. She wasn't sure how to finish that. Augustus seemed to think Death Eaters were strong and brave, so she found it unwise to talk to him about how unfair she found it, killing a child, or anyone for that matter, because of something as meaningless, in her eyes, as blood.

Oh. [ Augustus said nodding as he listened to Kitty explain the reason for her small meltdown ] Well I have yet to meet a person who has good days everyday, you know? [he asked trying to relieve some of the tension. Letting go of her hand Augustus slide his hand back into his pants pockets.] Sounds harsh .. Wanna talk about it? You can leave out the brutal parts if it’s easier for you. [he asked smiling at the young girl.]

I never heard of uncontrollable crying as being a side effect of tiredness miss Travers … [ Augustus said sternly as he examined her face trying to figure out what was the true culprit of her emotional episode ] -sighing- [he continued his inquiry] Kitty I don’t mean to be a sneak or anything but if somethings upsetting you I assure you I’m always available to listen. [ he said reaching for her hand squeezing it gently ] I care about you and I don’t like finding you like this

-She nodded, she should of known better than to think Augustus would believe her lies. But when he grabbed her hand, for the second time in just a couple of days, she couldn't help but feel just a bit better. She was surprised, however, to hear him say he cared about her.- Thank you. I guess I'm just having a hard time, today. My brother's letter just stirred up some things I saw this summer that are hard to deal with. -She looked down at his hand on hers. She wasn't sure if she could tell him about all of the things she'd seen.-

Uh… I’m sure you didn’t but are you all right? [ he asked this time trying figure out the best way he could console her without prying ]

-She wiped her eyes with her sleeve and sniffled.- Yeah, I'm fine. I don't know what came over me. -She took a deep breath and forced a smile.- I must be over tired or something.

-In the back of the library-

[hears soft sobs] Kitty…Is that you? [ he asked somewhat puzzled by the display he saw in front of him.]

-Upon hearing him, she tried to pull herself together.- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... -She trailed off, shaking her head.-

"Oh Merlin, Kitty" Penny quickly reached her friend and hugged her tightly.

"What’s going on, baby?"

Kitty hugged Penny back. "N-nothing, I just read a really sad book." She lied, forcing out a teary-eyed laugh. "I must be over tired."

“it’s more of a potion, it’s a concoction that muggle use for natural healing techniques” he explained trying not to cringe at the muggle part. Augustus harbored a secret hate for muggles and Muggleborns a like but he knew to keep himself under control when in public plus he wasn’t in the mood to rude so he kept things lite and easy going.

"The library isn’t everyone favorite place but it’s mine!" He said grinning again, this small confession was actually the biggest glimpse to who Augustus truly was before he got caught in the battle between blood-purity and that hogwash. this insignificant fact held so much honesty to it, He almost wondered if he should watch himself around Kitty after all. The library was the one place Augustus could go to escape the many facades he put up, he would go just to get lost in between the pages of books for hours.

“Oh” he muttered as he listened to her explain her situation. “Yeah that must be tough” he said nodding his head his chest tug a bit starting to question what Kitty had on him Augustus sort of felt sorry for her. Augustus hadn’t had siblings to grow fond of so he couldn’t quite connect all the dots but one could only imagine how difficult dealing with those emotions must’ve been. “Well, it’s not much but I’m here whenever you don’t want to be alone.” He said reaching for her hand this time it was him who’s cheeks seemed to be inflamed as he couldn’t help but at her. Augustus knew this was probably cheesy of him but for some odd reason he just felt like he should share how he was feeling.

"A muggle potion?" She asked, giving him a confused look. It was easy for her to play clueless when it came to muggles. Though she took muggle studies, she didn't know much about them. And what she did know, she pretended not to. Her excuse for taking muggle studies was that she had been placed there by the fault of the Professors and they wouldn't let her drop it.

She nodded, making a note that a good place to find him was in the library. "The library is nice enough, but sometimes people are crammed in there. Plus, the dust from the books makes me sneeze like crazy." She thought it was nice, that he was opening up to her a bit. That was something that made Kitty happy, when people trusted her. Plus, Augustus was rather handsome and made her feel giddy. It was something that she enjoyed very much.

"It's alright," She mumbled, trying to find her smile again. Appearing weak around others was not something she did often, not if she could help it. And getting emotional in front of him was not how she wanted their meeting to go. His words surprised her a bit, she didn't think Augustus was at all the carrying type. And when he reached for her hand, her face lit up with a smile. "Thank you, Augustus, that means a lot to me." She said quietly, flattered that he was being so kind to her. Her heart fluttered when she noticed his cheeks were flushed and she squeezed his hand gently.

Lunch on the Grounds

"Don’t mention it" Augustus said with a light chuckle as he noticed her cheeks flush mildly with his touch. Taking in her facial feature Augustus had to admit she was someone worth his admiration yes, she was a few years younger than him but Kitty had the beauty to rival the most attractive girls in his own year. And that was nothing if you added her sweet and quiet personality.

“Oh, your a regular old Rudolph the reindeer huh?” He asked amused at the thought of her adorning a bright nose. “Well I have a remedy for that nose when it decides to rear it’s ugly head” Augustus said in a matter of fact tone. “I usually stay close to the library but I guess the leaves drew me out here.” He said shaking his head in agreement with Kitty now as he actually realized how the leaves were more beautiful then he first thought.

"I see" Augustus said flatly he knew it was only a matter of time before he drew the true contents of what was sealed inside the envelope. "I have a cousin like that, she isn’t as gifted with the quill as one would hope but she means well." He said with a hunch of his shoulders as he felt slightly embarrassed about his confession. Augustus hated revealing to much of himself to those around him but he felt if he was ever going to gain Kitty’s trust he had to divulge something inpersonal bout himself.

A deeper crimson crept across her cheeks as he teased her about her nose. "Unfortunately, yeah." She mumbled softly, but perked up when he said he had a remedy for it. "A remedy, really? Like a spell?" She said, leaning in a bit, her eyes widening with interest. "The library is nice, but sometimes it gets too stuffy in there. Plus, come winter I'll be stuck inside for the most part anyway."

Kitty nodded, listening to his confession. She thought it was nice that he was opening up to her. "Yeah, my brother has just been a bit distant lately, is all. I guess it just makes me feel alone to read his letters, now. He and I used to be very close, you know? Now, we just have grown apart a bit." Her words were honest, but she didn't give Augustus the whole story. She and her brother had grown apart, but that was only because of his Dark Lord drilling it into his mind that love was for the weak. Her brother had taken those words to heart and shut off his emotions as much as he could. And with that, she had become his Death Eater in training. She forced another smile, "Maybe once I graduate from here we'll be close again." That was a lie though, and not a well told one.

Augustus watched Kitty intensely as she picked off small pieces of her sandwich and crammed it her mouth. As a smirk formed on his lips Augustus found himself biting his bottom lip as the fighting the urge to tell her to chew more slowly became somewhat unbearable, not wanting to start on proper etiquette or sound like her mother he moved on to the next best thing. Small talk. Noticing that she had dodged around his studying inquiry he leaned towards her closing the small gap the separated them and brushed a loose strand of her auburn hair that was starting to fall away from her face. quickly withdrawing his hand with a small nod. He mumbled “All better.”

“I guess I needed some fresh air, Fall fever you know? he answered shrugging his shoulders as he couldn’t explain any further why decided to venture outdoors. Normally a day like today he would’ve much rather snooped around the library for hushed secrets or checked out a few books to brush up on the Dark Arts but for some strange reason Augustus just decided to enjoy the Indian summer they’d seemed to be having. “besides no one thinks about this place with we have meals so why not enjoy take advantage if it” he said as his eyes raised and he begun to take in the vast scenery that surrounding them. Reaching for his belongings Augustus started to pack them away. As any studying he attempted from that point on would be pointless now that she was his distraction.

"What’s with the letter?" He asked coyly as he adjusted his thick framed glasses to sit neatly along the bridge of his nose. "I didn’t mean any harm curious tis’ all" he finished meekly with a small smile. Of course he didn’t mean any harm on the surface but Augustus knew that this sort of Intel would prove useful for later.

Kitty could feel her cheeks warm up when he moved a stray strand of hair from her face. Her eyes focused on the ground as her lips formed a small smile, fighting a lopsided grin from taking over. "Thanks, she mumbled, ceasing to eat anymore of her sandwich, her stomach suddenly full of butterflies.

She nodded, "Yeah, it's so warm out today. It's nice, the colors being so gorgeous on the grounds, yet it's not so cold that my nose turns all red while I try to enjoy it."  She loved the fall, all of the leafs changing colors and drifting to the ground. It was truly the beauty of death, and she could only hope that when her time came, she would fall just as gracefully as the leafs on the trees and look just as beautiful. Upon seeing him pack his things she raised an eyebrow, hoping that he wasn't leaving. 

At the mention of her letter, she glanced down, forcing a smile to remain on her lips. "It's just a letter from my brother, haven't really taken the time to read it yet. It's probably just the normal, 'Hello, how are classes'. He isn't the most creative of the bunch." She tried to joke, hoping that it would satisfy him as an answer.
