"What about you? Are you in school?"
"You can do it, Kiyo—sensei. After all, you’ve been doing this for years already, yeah?"
"Yes, although it's overwhelming every time. I really need to get more organized..." He gave a chuckle.
"Well I’ve been pretty alright, and you, Kiyo—sensei?"
"Good to hear! I'm as well as ever. I've been setting up in preparation for the new school year, so a little busier than I'd like, but..."
"Speak of the devil. Look who decided to show up."
"Hello there, Len." He gave the boy a smile. "How have you been doing?"

"Of course I don’t!" Eager words slide out far too quickly, and with her state of discomfort surrounding the idea of being in a "family" (much less AH, whom she has distaste for) she deems them a mistake. They came out much more enthusiastic than expected, that’s for sure. Her fingers crawl and find themselves clutching the brim of her infamous jacket, though surely the action was done out of pure anxiety. "I want to see your working environment too, you know. I’ve never been in a little kids’ classroom."
"I guess you wouldn't have," he said, chuckling. After all, Vocaloids were created at their target age. They didn't grow and develop as humans did. He hadn't gotten to experience any kind of childhood. But, that was fine. It was enough watching his students. He wanted to make sure they grew up into fine people, so he used what influence he had to hopefully make a positive impression on them. Childhood, after all, was a very important stage in life.
"The school isn't far from here. Within walking distance, really."
She smirks a little, and replies “Tired really, it has been a long day, and I’m ready to head home.” She pauses for a moment, and glances toward a small booth selling various refreshments.. “I guess I could stay a little longer, I’ll tell my boss my shift has ended, and we can keep talking.”
"I know that feeling." He remembered how he felt at the end of each school day. He nearly always had to stay after, of course. "Alright," he agreed, giving a friendly smile. He enjoyed her company, and would rather like to continue talking.
"Oh, my shift is almost over actually," answering in a softer voice. "If there is something in particular you would like to ask me, I guess you could do so now." She relaxes somewhat and rests her shoulders, sinking slightly with a confused look about her face."
"Well," he begins, pausing. What to ask? Maybe he should start with a basic greeting. That'd work out well, probably. And he'd just met her, so he didn't have any experience as to what she liked to talk about. "To start, how are you doing?"

Kiyosensei has come to say hi!
Miku smiled, shifting her purse from one arm to the other absently as the weight of the rather large back got to be a bit too much to handle. “Oh, yes! You can really tell that summer is on its way!” Again, she subtly tried to maneuver the conversation towards school.
Then again, the more she looked at the man, the less sure she was that he was the teacher who was probably even now grading her essay on themes of Pride and Regret in the classic Story of Evil. Still, the similarity was uncanny. She supposed that people looked alike quite often, though. It wouldn’t be the first time that she had mistaken a stranger for someone that she knew!
He looked up as a breeze swept by, almost basking in the spring warmth. "Yeah, that'll be nice. Less papers to grade." The man gave a small laugh, thinking about it. He was even more exhausted than the students most of the year, so summer was a relief for him too. Although it was a bit saddening to see his students go. He always felt a unique twinge in his heart as he saw them flood out the door for the last time.
"You're Miku, yes?" he asked to confirm it. He didn't want to jump to any conclusions and startle the girl. She did seem a bit...different. Like she wasn't of the same "blood". Was there no mechanical hum purring beneath her skin? He wondered this, but did not voice his thoughts. If she was truly human, it might frighten or disturb her.

There it is. Actuality laces the shifting positions of her irises, coming to terms now. “Kiyoteru" encompasses a variety of identities, and the presence of this one does not align with the one in her ruptured memories.
He is not the same one that fatefully spoke to her two years prior to now.
Fleetingly, that Kiyoteru Hiyama has still yet to be located. What did the red thread of fate take her for? A futile play of hide and seek is the very game she refuses to participate in. Irritation chips her off bit by bit, however it sparsely reveals itself anywhere, and her expression is untouched. Defeat willingly takes her into its hands, and with sighs, Yukari agrees to play the little sister figure.
"Kiyo, Kiyo." Tug, tug. "Forget about it. For now. Nothing will happen if we’re just standing around and hoping." Ribbons of annoyance twist around her sentences, then melt into a softer, but still irked pitch. "Let me help you set up a classroom or something. Something to get your our minds off.”
"Yeah, you're right. You're absolutely right." He grins and laughs, expression considerably warmed by the other's words. Now that he thought about it, he still needed to get all the posters and knick-knacks up in his new room. They'd moved him a couple of doors down by the other third grade classrooms, whereas before he'd been in the middle of the fourth grade. "I could actually use your help with that, if you don't mind."
