Faith - my favorite game girls (2) 

What I love about Faith from Mirror’s Edge is her unwavering confidence and agency that doesn’t override her multidimensionality. Which also perfectly reflects how we as the player get to move her through the city. It’s like they translated parkour into a personality and gave it to Faith.

I also just want to say that I love the game’s story as well. I feel like audiences got a bit distracted by the tropes and odd 2D cutscenes (totally understandable) and didn’t notice how organically the world and characters are introduced - how believable and likeable they all feel - or the simple but emotional journey Faith goes on just trying to save her sister. To me, the story is as enjoyable as the visuals, music and gameplay. ‘u’
