Nah yesterday I know say "women" get power forget. Woman power nah 'ogbonge something' and e dey work well well like magic. Nah this woman use better scope and "emotional intelligence" they calm frayed nerves down. She just dey calm me and these people down because already I Don dey on the edge when I see them. E for too bad, I swear. Unaa for hear say them "kpokpo" me gaan or me sef do pass myself. Them say I resemble "yahoo boy!" See Naija police personnel ehn! Fear these people. Nah money them just want and me know go give anybody money when I know commit crime. These people ehn. You would think they are fighting crime but in the real sense of it, they are enabling it. You find a fraudster, you take a chunk of the money and release them. How is that a panacea to the pain we feel in this country? If you Don dress well; wear boots - dey with woman for back seat. Forget! Them must reason you. Them too like another person something especially "woman". See as them dey look woman like fresh fish wey enter net. Them use eye wann kee this woman. Them look my phone tire nothing dey there. One wey know wear uniform come dey wann search me. "Oga, who you be nah?" I asked. E show me ID card. Then begin ask for heaven and earth. One dey eye the woman. Even tell am say... "This guy know fit you!" Ah... Men can never stop cheating. If nah night, them fit shoot me throway! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮? - Be proud of your brand. Speak about it relentlessly at all times. Don't be bored to talk about what you do and what puts food on your table. Show it off and talk about it any given opportunity at all. Yesterday, when the police men asked me what I do as a job, I told them effortlessly and precisely that I write for a living. I forgot it was an interrogation, I began to tell them extensively how they can make a living through writing and content creation. This is what I mean. Be so consumed in talking about your business and brand at every opportunity that calls for it. - Reach out to people and make friends with them especially on socialmedia. It is now a norm for me to reach out to people on this platform especially on their story sections. I make small jokes and compliment beauty. I start with loving what is there and striking a meaningfuk conversation around what they have posted or advertised. At some point, I give subsidized discount to them when they choose to advertise on KIZZY Start a conversation with greetings and pleasantries. Tell people beautiful things about themselves. Get them to know few things about you too. Remember, people only support those they know, like, have emotional resonance with and trust. - Always share viable info about your brand activities with them. Note, don't appear too good without a vulnerable side. Don't also appear always like you want to sell. Rather, make them feel privileged to have certain information about what goes on with you and around you. - When they patronize you or make a referral to you, do well to appreciate them. Send a "thank you" note or card, special season's greetings, gift them free gifts once in a while. It doesn't hurt. - Be disciplined. Even when your relationship starts getting close, always maintain a high standard of discipline, decency and professionalism. Sometimes, I falter on this because I get carried away with the small talks. Got value? Hope so - Get a copy of my business books on www.kizzyservicehub.com or drop a message on my business Whatsaap on 07031850571 - https://www.instagram.com/p/CQNTj71H8fK/?utm_medium=tumblr
Growing up in a Christian family and attending #Deeperlife Ministry ensured I knew the Christian Bible from Genesis to revelation effortlessly. A cosmetic show of bible knowledge is how fast you can join books together that are synonymous with each other and quote them like a recital. I schooled most Bible teachers who engaged me intellectually at the time in focus with most not grounded with the faith. Engaged deliberately the Jehova witness guys till they literally developed migraine. It was easy to irk them with other quotations of the Bible that punctures their submission. I was a natural theologian. It is no gimmick when I was told that I had a healing ministry too - my father would go ahead at the time to buy a "megaphone" and strategically place me in front of a drinking pub in our home in Mushin to preach. I was young but fearless! and earned the name Pastor as young as 12. Infact, during my younger years when this fanatism held sway and was the order of the day, I preached and made a ministry out of the knowledge I had at the time. A family here always sent for me to pray for their ailing mother and the son lost his asthma and said it was as a result of my prayer. As I grew older and wiser, I found out more about religion and how what we know like the Dunning Kruger effect is less and less even as we think we know more. While I prayed on my father's important day, he reminded me that he had a covenant with his God that I will be a Pastor. As I recall this discussion - I have got a wide grin on my lips. Imagine me as a Pastor when I'm already the only man of God in Nigeria. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQK5yS7nDID/?utm_medium=tumblr
“Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can reach down to the bottom of his soul and come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win when the match is even.” - Muhammad Ali At this time in my life, I had nothing. I ate on credit, had not more than two shoes and my bed was on the ground, my towel hanged from the door and my girlfriend mocked me with this situation. It was also a time to learn and grow. I recall that most significant soft- skills I thrive with today in networking and business developed from this important stage of my life . I was paid a small amount of money as salary that could barely get me to the office in one piece, I managed to stay on inspite of that tribulation - but what I took away from this stage is what has helped me create business and models that run in double figures. I wrote the minutes in meetings. Those were the days that gave birth to writing best-selling content published on Amazon and bambooks and other reading channels. Your dark days are very important to the days you'll shine like a star. Today, I preach process. Time. Result. It is a dysfunctional thought pattern to crave instant gratification and result as a startup Entrepreneur or business owner. Give time some more time. Allow people grill you with question about your why's. Let them see how you handle overwhelming challenges. Let them see how you steady your turnovers even in a deplorable economic condition. Earn your stripes and emerge victorious. Though it was a time of Jacob's trouble where the next meal was a prayer, yet this time in 2011 was the time I positioned myself for the role I am playing today as a business owner and an Entrepreneur. You will be a servant first then you will become the Master. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQKrKjWH-YB/?utm_medium=tumblr
The challenge of working as an Entrepreneur in Nigeria is overwhelming. Truth be told, Warren-buffet was right when he said having a singular source of income is a step away from poverty but the more bitter truth is that there aren't many jobs viable in a country like Nigeria. Being an enterpreneur in this country is damn hard because the same government that encourages self-employement will still frustrate you when they notice you are making progress. I recall In July, last year, Lagos State government proposed a 25 million licencing fee per 1000 bikes and then 30,000per bike subsequently after the first set of 1000 for Opay. By the way, Opay has gone extinct as I write and the owner killed but that business idea didn't get to scale up or affect the life of the common man who use this services as commuters and who are into this service as business owners. One would ask at that junction, What is their crime for such heavy levy? They introduced a transport company that will help manage the hardship this insensitive government brought on its citizens and in turn provide jobs for thousands of people. Fast forward to this moment, what is the situation on ground today? Where is the support for budding Entrepreneurs? In Nigeria the government will fail to provide you jobs, then they will preach self-employment. When you come up with an idea, same government will frustrate you out of it when they notice you making progress. It takes the grace of God to scale up your business in this country because the wrong set of people are in important place of influence, administration and control. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQJZf4enXte/?utm_medium=tumblr
This will help you in the journey to a sale strategy 🖇Have a marketing budget. Start with a pocket friendly budget that comfortably suits your small business. I have always said it on this platform, times without number that my "Writing business" started from my bedroom in Isolo some years ago. We had a moderate budget and worked with it. We didn't go looking for loans from the bank - we started with what we had at our disposal. 🖇Get a marketer that's experienced in marketing your kind of products/services and get a good Website. You need a good marketer who can tell your brand stories without losing the plot of the message. I have done this effortlessly for years and I recommend myself to help you through this journey. A website tells a comprehensive story about your services and allows your client base connect with what you're offering at real time. My friend Eze Uba helped me create mine at pocket friendly rate and it has doubled as a hub for sales of some of our worded content including subscription for our movie projects. You need a good website to sell your business better and this is a mandatory prerequisite. 🖇Leverage social media to tell your brand stories. Those who follow me on all platforms on this tool would say without mincing words that I do not hesitate to push my business daily with this tool - even on Instagram which is adjudged by most as an illusionary, fickle tool, I found a way to make it a tool to share my brand stories. 🖇Hire the services of good copywriters and content writers. If the right image is not out there, the result will be compromised. When your name comes up what hit people's mind immediately? 🖇Push those products out there. Talk about the solutions your products bring at every chance you get. Why should people purchase your book? What challenges is it solving? Who needs it and why?Don't stay quiet. The noise is too much for a quiet brand to breakthrough. One of my friend in the Content game will say... "Innovate or die" 1. Build your own online platform. I focused on building my own online platform the first 6 years of my business especially after my time with paid establishment. I decided to build my own online platform and community organically from the scratch. It will not be easy but it is doable. Cc: KIZZY. Regardless of what ends up happening this is a great reminder of how important it is to build your own thriving community of people you serve. That way it doesn't matter if an event is canceled or a disease breaks out and leaves people immobile, you can still make a difference and make an income regardless of what is happening. 2. Serve your clients in a deeper way. Many speakers, advertisers and content creators just show up and speak. This is a great reminder of how important it is to be able to have a multitude of ways that you can serve your people. Speaking, training, online programs, curriculum programs, coaching, physical products, etc. There are many ways to serve clients and if we can offer other options a cancelation will not effect you. 3. Innovate. Whenever there is disruption in any market there are people who innovate and see great results because of it. This is a great reminder to innovate and find new ways to serve your clients. Regardless of what happens with this virus these are principles to live by in your business. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQFNUmwHxjL/?utm_medium=tumblr
Have you ever heard of dropshipping? It is the most profitable zero-based capital business I can beat my chest about yet the most reliable.Oh, wait! Almost zero capital, actually. Why do I say so? Dropshipping business requires just one thing- DATA!!! Your customers don't often have to know they aren't getting it directly from you. Just build an online store with goods from vendors, get a few orders and supply adding your profit. LET ME EXPLAIN PRACTICALLY!!! Imagine been a dropshipper to someone who bakes chin-chin. She sells 5ltrs chinchin at #5000 but you advertise at #6000 on your WhatsApp status and Facebook timeline. (#1000 profit)Then you get 5 orders in a day for that chinchin. Send your vendor money to supply the chinchin and then deliver to your customer using your personal brand name while you pocket your added profit (#1000×5)...That's #5000 per day and in 30 days of the week, it's #150,000. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS BUSINESS? 1.) Have reliable vendors as your suppliers. You don't want to refund customers money if they pay and the vendor doesn't deliver. You're running at a loss 2.) Payment validates order. It's not your business so you can't do pay on delivery for your customers. Your supplier can't give you his/her goods to go deliver before sending money except he trusts you and you live next door, lol. Tell your customers to pay. 3.) Data. Always update your social media with items. That's your market, display your wares with pride. Marry your phone, always be online. 4.) Pick the right goods. You can't have only pastors and church workers on your social media yet be a dropshipper for a vendor that sells Dildos and sex-toys 🤣 you won't be making sales, sweetheart. You can dropship any item (Bags, clothes, shoes, cakes, online classes, kid items, Jewelries), just know your market. 5.) Market is always unstable at the beginning but be persistent. You may get 5 orders for chinchin today, 3 orders the next day yet 10 orders a week later... 6.) Let your added profit be reasonable 🙏 Consider cost of items, delivery and then add a reasonable amount as profit. Get a copy of the #Easyguidetomaking7figures book. Slow down if you want to go fast! This paradox is one of the best pieces of advice I have ever received. When I first heard it, it didn't make a lot of sense. "How can slowing down make me go faster?" "I want to go faster, so shouldn't faster be the answer?" After I slowed down enough to think about it and actually try it out it made sense and I started to understand the concept. We are working with people. Whether you are working with individuals, or businesses / organizations you are working with people. No business transaction happens without an individual deciding that what you have to offer will help them solve their problem. If we are in a hurry to contact as many people as possible we miss the opportunity to genuinely connect with someone in a way that can build enough trust and rapport for them to make the decision to work with you. Most people have been burned by someone who does something similar to you. Because of their past experience they are skeptical at first and the number one thing they are looking for is certainty that they can trust you. The best way you can give them this certainty is to slow down and create meaningful connections, deep conversations, and provide a solution to their problem. If you slow down enough to actually listen to them they will tell you exactly what matters most to them and if you are able to provide a solution for their problem making the sale becomes easy. It is very hard to grow your business and make sales if all you are doing is running from prospect to prospect with more concern for quantity over quality. When I started implementing the "Slow down to go fast" philosophy it made a huge difference in my business right away and I know it can do the same for you as well. Slow down enough to listen, slow down enough to serve, slow down enough to actually provide a solution to what they care about most. https://www.instagram.com/p/CP6_c8lH4Jp/?utm_medium=tumblr

Dear Entrepreneur, I‘m proud of your journey. Life hasn’t been so easy on you, but you’ve managed to keep your head up and continued fighting throughout this horrendous times. So, be proud of everything you’ve been through, own this struggle and mostly, be proud of what you’ve become with this experiences. The life of an Entrepreneur is an endless struggle. It is one fraught with overwhelming personal cost and challenges. A life of toiling, a life of groaning. A life of demands. A life of long-suffering and perseverance. Stop being so hard on yourself. Very soon, all the pains and frustration will be worth it. Remember, everything happens for a particular reason, so you’re in the exact place you‘re meant to be right now. So, breathe, be patient, and trust the process. Don’t take everything so personally and try to not let disappointments and rejections get you down. Even though you think you are broken, there is so much beauty in your pain. Also, you’re really not as broken as you think you are. You‘re stronger than anything that has tried to tear you down. You‘re a survivor, not a victim. So with that said, try not to be so hard on yourself, we both know you’re doing the best you can. Create a meaningful life for yourself that you can be proud of. Never let anyone get in the way of your goals in life. More importantly, never give up on your passions and your dreams. Don’t waste your time on people who don’t believe in you. You don’t need anyone like that in your life. So, only surround yourself with people who encourage and inspire you. https://www.instagram.com/p/CP10TCYHLQl/?utm_medium=tumblr
I was very cantankerous and belligerent as an employee some good years ago- I believed too much in my own ability to thrive in the office space. I seldom make jokes or laugh as I believed it watered down my essence and brand. What a ballyhoo!! Always wearing a bad frown with clenched teeth and folded fist like one who is squaring up for a fight. This is the biggest recipe for disaster for anyone. It will create unnecessary enemies in the work place. It will also lead to a high level of unproductivity because no one will connect with your train of thought. You will appear too out of touch for a union to happen. In the bid to impress the boss at the time, I was always in my own corner- zealously foolish and obstinate - summarily in many trouble for small things - no one was your friend, no one covered you up and it feels good to them always when you are at the receiving end of tirade from the Boss. I learnt about "teamwork" with pain. I learnt how to get along with people even if they hold adversarial position from your point of view. I had to love the manager, Shola and this important lesson stuck with me years after I left that establishment. You will always need a team. Team makes the bigger dream work. I am opening up my business, KIZZY to you all at this important point in time. I need new persons around. You can be a part of my team as we build your soft skills and arm you with the needed knowledge to thrive on this space. Do you have that natural flair for creating compelling and viable content that can leverage income and revenue generation on this platform? Can you work at almost peanut fee? Can you teach a course beautifully well with zero supervision? Can you create amazing business copy? Come, let's talk.
