Here's the thing: Nicole's issues with her men is a HER problem. She's been so good at being an absentee family member and "fixer" for the Duprees, has mommy and daddy do the talking for her, AND has no backbone with family threats.

Side chick casually threatens her daughter/family? Nicole shrugs it off. Mother has cancer? Nicole has as little interactions with her as possible. Daughter is struggling? Nah, talk to Vanessa instead! Nicole has NEVER had a backbone.

Nicole wants 2 men on her side in the same way Ted has Shanice and Leslie on his sides. She wants the same number of bodies like competition.

stamped this show, promoted as a powerful black family, meanwhile there is a bait & switch. The family the show is suppose to focus on are used poorly & as if they’re the secondary cast. Used them market a show just to spit in their faces

·How is it that the people who the audience are tuning in to see are hardly ever around, or characters doing a bunch of nothing? The top talents of the show being treated like reoccurring characters. The women are always made to look weak, & get drug through the mud 😒

The lopsided writing to clearly favor certain characters who can’t stand alone. Acting as if certain things didn’t happen trying to force people to like other characters. I’ve seen toddlers more organized than this.
