Memories do not always soften with time; some grow edges like knives.

Characters in my pics always devour something or drink like fishes, that’s my guilty pleasure XD Anyway, i found one more my old Hetalia pic made in 2009 with these four drinking and felt a huge desire to redraw it. I accidentaly split it into four, but i guess it looks good. A lot of hidded andvertisenents are to be found here x)
My body, with its pain and mess and hunger—if I could have bribed it to go away, I would have.

May 20, 1916 - “Winnie is Back”
Pictured - Churchill photographed during his tour of service in France. He preferred to wear a privately purchased French Adrian helmet, a preference he maintained in the Second World War as well.
Few people must have played so many different roles during the First World War as Winston Churchill. First Lord of the Admiralty in 1914, Churchill was sacked for his promotion of the disastrous Gallipoli campaign. Not content as a mere backbencher, he enlisted in the Army and spent several months as a Lieutenant Colonel on the Western Front, where he observed the war first hand, writing home his impressions and taking many extra risks in the front lines.
In May, Churchill returned back to England after his stretch of duty, re-entering the House of Commons. His new experiences influenced his thoughts and his remarks in Parliament, which was seeking more funding for the war. “I say to myself every day, what is going on while we sit here, while we go away to dinner or home to bed? nearly 1,000 men - Englishmen, Britishers, men of our race, are knocked into bundles of bloody raga every twenty-four ours, and carried away to hasty graves or to field ambulances.”
