So I have a question about Foxtails lore! 💕 I know it’s finished and all, but I’ve been daydreaming about it. So since it seems Keith will likely live in the forest with Lance for a majority of his life, and is working to protect and expand it, would be, in essence, become a nature spirit as well when he passes on so he can stay with Lance? I know a lot of myths have that and was curious what your take is because I’d hate for Lance to end up alone 💔

In my version I think it would have ended with the boundary being lifted so Lance could leave the forest and work more closely with Keith doing conservation awareness campaigns and such. They would spend the rest of their lives together (obviously) and when it came time for Keith to go he would be reincarnated as a spirit like Lance in return for his efforts in protecting the earth, only in a part of the world that still needs help.

It would be Lance's job to find where his lover is in the world so they can be together for eternity ;)
