I love coffee and I love burgers. Nothing can beat the taste of a freshly made coffee cup of coffee made with soul and a good artisan burger. I love coffee so much I have decided I'm going to order my favourite Latte and review each and every cafe I have been to. As a plus I gonna put up the best burger bites in town. =) So here it is, Good, bad or plain evil according to my tastebuds!

Flat White Coffee at SS15 Subang.

Had to climb up the stairs to an ok sized cafe which was not packed with people. had ample seats also an outdoor area. The look and feel of this place feela like a smaller version of Coffea Coffee with less people.

The Latte was a tad too acidic for me to the point that its slightly bitter. Wasn’t really happy with the taste. The coffee in general was good, Much better than most shops, the prices are reasonable. However, the latte left a bitter taste in my mouth and that was a deal breaker for me.

So if you’re ever in SS15 subang, then u should check it out :) i would recommend this cafe over the starbucks 2 blocks away.

Big Chomp Burger, SS15 Subang. A brand new burger joint on the same row of the Original burger bakar wangsa maju. Serving pretty good charcoal burgers almost a match to Burgerlab PJ. Enjoyed my dinner there, had nice deco. The fries was a little dissapointin though, if they can fix the fries then i'd gove this place a 8/10. Else its just a 6/10. check it out and try it out :)

#Espressamente Illy , Pavilion Kl - First Impression - 4/10 
 I didn't have a good impression of this cafe. It looked unwelcoming, no warmth to make people stay, it feels like a drink and go kind of place. - Ambience - 5/10
 This cafe is constantly packed. Being in the center of Kl im sure it would be. So its noisy and cramped. there isnt many Non smoking seats, seems like smoker seats are more in favor here. I wouldnt come here to chill. perhaps just a cup and leave. Coffee experience 
- Latte Taste - 9/10 
 I've been to Illy a few times ever since they opened in 2007/08. The taste maintained till today so im very happy with that. Perfect cup without the need of sugar. Perfect temperature although i would prefer it to be slightly more acidic. - Latte Art - 5/10 - Overall Experience 
Excellent coffee, terrible place to hang out, so many people walking around. Its as good as it looks, a drink and go cafe.

ACME Bar & Coffee, The Troika KLCC - First Impression - 9/10 
 I had a good first impression of this cafe. Nice well designed interiors, i like the flawless combination of modern and vintage look. Tables were appropriately placed, plenty of room for a good conversation with friends and family. I have been here twice and in both occasion, it was not packed, so that was nice. - Ambience - 9/10
 Good lighting, not too dark not too bright, perfect for a nice dinner or coffee. Music was soft and blended well with the ambience. Coffee experience 
- Latte Taste - 4/10 
 The latte was a dissapoinment. i was looking forward to having a good latte but it came short from my expectations. The latte was way too hot, too bitter and too milky. It wasnt done correctly and im pretty sure its not supposed to taste like that. im hugely dissapointed. - Latte Art - 6/10 - Overall Experience 
 Hate the coffee, but good place to hang out and chill. Maybe dinner? but never coffee.

#CoffeaCoffee , Telawi Bangsar

- First Impression - 7/10
 The cafe is right next to another coffee shop called coffeemania which is yet to be opened. looks about the same as the one in SS15 but smaller. Overall same feel like the SS15 outlet. However, not really liking the layout as it feels a little messy.

- Ambience - 7/10 A nice place to hang out and chill. the tables are a bit close to each other, can’t help but eaves drop next tables conversation. Can’t really hear the music because the shop was packed.

Coffee experience 
- Latte Taste - 9/10  The taste maintained and i lovef every sip of my latte. Nothing makes my day better than a nice cup of coffee. 
Its slowly starting to be in my list of favourite coffee shops. The aroma is good and the taste is perfect, not too acidic with a good a good body just the way i like it. Just nice. By the way this time i had the Meastro beans which i feel suited me better than the Madonna.

 Excellent coffee, good place to hang out and chill, terrible parking (whats new in bangsar) Whats left to say?

Espressolab, eCurve. - First Impression - 6/10 The cafe looked pretty packed, not many places to sit. Liked the bar area for a quick drink but didn't really enjoy the seating areas. - Ambience - 5/10 Very mod and simplistic designed cafe. I like the whites and the clean and modern look this cafe gives. Certainly different compare to all the other cafes. Its at a busy junction of eCurve though so not really a great place to hang out but great for a quick caffeine fix! Bright shopping mall cafe although a bit small, but still is a nice place for coffee. Coffee experience - Latte Taste - 9/10 
 Espressolab has one of the best lattes I've tasted in KL. Espressolab is my all time favourite place for a good cup of Coffee. It comes pre-served with plain water which is a plus. The aroma is good and the taste is not too strong, not too acidic with a good a good body just the way i like it. its Just nice i would say. - Latte Art - 9/10 - Overall Experience The coffee here is a must try if you haven't already. They make one of the best Coffee in KL. Forget Starbucks or Coffee bean at curve, come here for good coffee and i'll assure you wont regret it! @espressolabasia

Dinner was at Crayon Burger, a quiet little burger restaurant in SS15 Subang Jaya. Inside the minimalist (almost under designed) restaurant full of college students, was a menu of pretty good burgers with free flow soft drinks. Burgers are definitely worth a try and this place is never too packed :)

Kaffa Espresso Bar, 
 Damansara Uptown.

- First Impression - 9/10


From the outside, the cafe looked really cool, hip and funky. I like the whole vintage American style going on. I like the interior deco and the general concept of this cafe. Also another earthy warm cafe. (seems like all cafes lately are built this way?) 

- Ambience - 7/10 


The mood of this cafe is nice, simple and relaxing. Soft music, better brighter light than some other cafes. However, this cafe is pretty small and it can be quite packed with no seats. To make up for lack of space, they have long tables which are pretty close to each other. I don't like sitting near to other people where you can practically be part of their conversation. The whole cafe concept is nice though, just too small for my liking.

Coffee experience

- Latte Taste - 6/10 
 The latte was weaker then what i would have liked. You could taste more milk than you can taste the coffee. It's smooth though, very smooth but not strong enough for a pick me up. Quite a mellow cup of coffee. Again, it comes with plain water which is a plus.

- Latte Art - 7/10

- Overall Experience

Minus the awful traffic outside, minus the terrible parking at the cafe, It can be a nice place to hang out. Best to come here during non-peak coffee hours. But I must point out that I didn't like the Latte cups at all... I know its meant to be cool, but it didn't do it for me. This cafe is a 50-50 for me. If i'm around the area, perhaps i'll drop by, but i wont make the trouble to come here to have a good cup of coffee.

No one does justice like the TGI Friday's Tennessy Burger. Absolutely awesome burger with an amazing sweet tennessy sauce. Whenever ur at TGI i would strongly recommend this burger. its the bomb !

Artisan Roast Coffee, 
 Section 13, PJ

First Impression - 7/10 
- Initially i was kinda weirded out that in the middle of an industrial area there is a nice looking coffee shop. However the shop is big and nicely designed with plenty of seating area and good service. Very warm and earthy tones with lots of wood and bricks interiors.

Ambience - 6/10 
- Another double storey cafe that pretty nice to chill out and hang out. Pretty dim lit though with not much lighting. Don’t really enjoy a shop which is too dark. but a good place to chill with friends over good coffee nevertheless.

Coffee experience 
- Latte Taste - 7/10 
 The taste was a bit strong, perhaps too acidic for me but it was still good coffee. Comes with plain water which is a plus.

- Latte Art - 7/10 


Overall Experience 
- Good coffee shop with good ambience. Chilled and relaxing. A little bit out of the way and in the middle of nowhere though, Other than that its definitely one of my recommendations. :)

COFFEA COFFEE, SS15 Subang jaya

First Impression - 8/10
 - Coffea Coffee looked really good from the outside, nicely designed. Very warm and earthy tones with lots of wood and polished cement interiors. Had an entrance that is impressive.

Ambience - 7/10
 - Spaced out tables, light music and a double storey cafe that is pretty nice to chill out at. Not exactly very comfortable chairs. A good place to catch up with friends over good coffee.

Coffee experience
 - Latte Taste - 9/10  Had the ‘Madonna’ blend which was smooth, not too acidic with a nice aroma. Enjoyed every sip. Excellent coffee. Comes with plain water which is a plus.


- Latte Art - 8/10 I got mine with a shape of a swan and mrs got a heart.

Overall Experience
 - Excellent coffee shop with good ambience. Really chilled and relaxing. Can get pretty packed cuz theres not much chairs and parking can be a big bummer. Other than that its Awesome. Definitely a must go!

KOMUGI Cafe, Paradigm Mall

First Impression - 6/10 - The cafe looked interesting, nice japanese style bakery shop / cafe.

Ambience - 5/10 - Not a great place to chill and relax, located at a busy area of the mall.

Coffee experience - Latte Taste - 7/10  - Latte Art - 7/10

Overall Experience - Well made coffee, not excellent but better than most. I would recommend this cafe for its coffee and its bakery. :)
