Do you think that with the release of "On the eight day, before the rain stops" and other songs that might be related to that could be a whole series Suzumu is making on purpose or is it something more personal? I thought that up to Heart Connect that there might've been some sort of story I'm not grasping yet, but the newest song felt so personal that I might've been wrong this whole time.
I’m not sure if anyone’s posted additional information on this, but Suzumu’s announced that he’ll be releasing a light novel titled The World’s Lifespan and the First Seven Days -Rain Shelter Street Collection of Short Stories-. It’s definitely a series. These seven days are listed in the descriptions of each related video he uploads.

We also know that Heart Connect, Existence (he might be uploading this with a PV since it’s been on 3 albums now), The World’s Lifespan, and Indulging: Idol Syndrome are in there for sure, because they’re mentioned in the Mediafactory description of the book. No idea where The World’s Lifespan fits in - if this is the “first 7 days”, and it’s not the 0th day, where is the “last day”?
Suzumu also mentioned on Twitter that Your Heart Rate (Kimi no Shinpakusuu) from Rib’s new album is a sort of sequel to Heart Connect, so uh. Yeah. Where are we going?
On the Eighth Day definitely is personal, though - the live action PV really sets it apart, and the dude looks a lot like Suzumu. The lyrics apply to him as well - wanting to reach his audience through words, making up stories about “the end of the world” and “utopia”, etc.
The album booklet might have some secret info. If someone with the album wouldn’t mind scanning it for me, I might just translate it! wink wink.
