My main thought these last few weeks have been drowned in AU’s that could be made easily. There’s this one that I’ve particularly thought about, and here it is;
- Midevil times, instead of clans/villages (mostly villages) there are kingdoms. Think of Game of Thrones by chance if you will; These different kingdoms want the main throne, the Hokage of the Leaf.
- The Akatsuki? They’ll be a rebellion since they’ve gone away from their “kingdoms” (villages).
- The Anbu? They’ll be the “Guards of the Wall” or to be simpler, “The Night Watch”. (Pretty much who they are, they are much relatable to the Anbu and what they follow. Not much difference, if they were of the Naruto universe they would definitely be the Anbu. They are loyal to the main Kingdom, the lead, and that’s be the only difference they have from the Night Watch.)
- Although, in this AU, the Uchiha’s live beyond Sasuke’s child years, so does Itachi. Itachi /was/ in the Rebellion (Akatsuki) but eventually made it out, being finished with his spying work. He returns to his family, and especially Shisui. The Uchiha aren’t as segregated, more being welcomed into the Leaf.
- Shisui and Itachi end up missing each other after all those days of waiting and yearning, and end up falling madly in love (again w h o o p s). Not everyone knows.
- “Finally you’re back after all these years. I might have to be the one treating you.”
- “Treating me to what? There’s surely nothing you have to treat me to except your-”
- “Surely. We’d have to tell stories of your adventures and your arrivals, all the people. Your homecoming.”
- “Maybe there’s a person that I would mention, but me and their stories wouldn’t be suitable for children, Shisui.”
- “Oh? And who would that person be?”
- “You’ll find out if you let me ride you like your grey horse out there.”
