alexandra-rothschild:
“I don’t..” She replied trying not to laugh “Well maybe… is an important gift or maybe the first custom bag they own.” She said trying to find something to make the woman not to sound so awful but well there really was only so much you could talk about a bag without the conversation getting dull and she knew Vivi didn’t even have patience for just a little of that sort of conversation. “For what is worth I think she is now talking about it to the bartender so…you’re free.”
· · · vivienne did another eyeroll but this one wasn’t menacing like the others. it was a playful one. she adored alexandra and her innocence and naive tendencies to see the good in people. it’s what vivienne both loved & envied about the blonde. however her husband had changed that about her. he made her realize the crooked ways people played tricks and used others.
❝ not surprising honestly. she’ll most likely hit up the dj with the same story. what have you been up to? having fun? ❞
alexandra-rothschild:
Alexandra had been preparing for the party for a while, after all Bunny’s birthday had been a very important date on her calendar for a very long while now, she had expected a lot from this party and so far her expectations had been met in the best of ways and she truly hoped Bunny would have the best birthday. Already having spent a good while mingling and talking to old friends and aquientences- many who asked about her parents or her family in general- she was in terrible need of a drink.
Gracefully she made her way to the open bar and ordered a martini. As she waited for the bartender to make it she looked around her, smiling kindly to the person nearby. “Hello, it’s a lovely party isn’t?”
· · · vivienne sat, drinking champaign. listening to the large group of girls that had swarmed her just to be seen together for appearance reasons. giggle and talk aimlessly about gossip that vivienne was sure of being old news. regardless she was bored out of her wits end and desperately trying to find something else that would take her away from the fake laughter and nasally voices.
it wasn’t long after her tenth eye roll did she catch sight of alexandra. jumping up from her seat, she didn’t bother excusing herself nor tossing a glance at the group of hags she’d happily left behind.
❝ please tell me you don’t have a date. for the love of god if i have to stand there and listen to one more bitch brag about her prada bag being custom i’ll gag. gag alexandra. ❞

it was only obvious for vivienne menteries to attend. being a socialite & given the fact that her husband was an important business man. she’d most likely spend the night away from her husband and in attendance with her friends, or whatever you’d call those social climbers. she’s also here for the men and drinks. definitely not on business.
natbardot:
It had been a while since she’d seen Vivienne. They’d crossed paths in plenty of auditions but Nathalie had decided the stage was more to her liking, at least for now. When the other spoke, she shrugged. “I mean it is a party and we do run in similar circles…”
· · · vivienne offered a half smile before taking another sip of her drink.she hadn’t seen much of nat besides her face plastered on bright screens and poster boards with the latest broadway show. vivienne wasn’t at all surprised to have seen her here. the brunette was right after all. they had run in similar circles for a lot longer than awhile. however it seemed these days all the faces she’d seen her mafia members and the likes.
❝ fair enough. how’ve you been? ❞
charles-rothschild:
Charles couldn’t help but smile as Vivenne spoke, he was sure that she knew what happened down the hallway but he would rather deny it anyway. “Definitely, especially when there’s ton of work on your mind.” He lied. Charles looked over to her, he could smell her perfume from where was standing and he couldn’t help but move closer towards her until the elevator door opens. He offered her his arms and he lead her towards his Lexus-LS. Charles opened the door for her before he slid inside the car. “Do you like Italian?” He asked, making do with the formalities.
· · · vivienne accepted the offered arm, looping hers around before following him outside past the elevator doors. she had admitted to herself that he had good taste given his attire and vehicle and that was something vivienne found attractive. a man who showed his wealth in many forms was always a must in her books. after all, she was high maintenance herself. having only the luxuries life had to offer. she slid into the vehicle but not before giving him a smirk.

· · · ❝ has anyone ever told you. you look like a kicked puppy. ❞ vivi cracked. clearly the wine had taken a huge effect to her brain and she hadn’t known the male she so gracefully walked up to.
@kanafau
· · · vivienne had excused herself to the restroom. deciding a little breather was needed and a little refreshing along with it. it was one of those nights she was dragged into a party with a few other friends. however vivienne knew they had only been socialites. swarming at the opportunity to be apart of something bigger than them. after all, it was just a social ladder people had climbed for years.
fixing her lipstick in the mirror, vivienne noticed a familiar face, nathalie bardot. she had been a fellow actress. one who’s specialty was mostly broadway but an actress none the less.
❝ fancy seeing you here... ❞
@natbardot
· · · despite vivienne’s strong feelings of hatred to her husband, whenever she had interactions or run ins with any member of the corsican, she always remained respectful. after all, her hatred wasn’t for them. she wasn’t stupid and naive as she had once been a long time ago. when she had first met her now husband she deemed herself a fool blinded by lies and love.
it was no surprise that her husband would often bring her along. for appearances and such. after all, the menteries man had only cared about that much. their business was often held at la belle epoque, the art gallery owned by none other than damien olivier.
however she was fully aware that it was gabriel beaumont who often handled business with her husband. so running into the male was of no surprise.
❝ pleasure to see you again monsieur beaumont. ❞
@gabrielvbeaumont
charles-rothschild:
“It is my pleasure.” Charles replied walking alongside the woman he had just met. “Perhaps you’d want to have lunch? I know a place somewhere near.” He suggested, thinking of places that would seem to fit her. She was extravagant, and vain. It was something they had in common. As they walked near the elevator, a female paralegal came running to him holding his black coat. She gave it to him with a sly smile and a ‘thank you’ that was almost a whisper. Charles remembered he took it off in his office, along side the rest of his clothes, when the paralegal came in. “Thank you.” He said with a wink before hanging the coat on his left shoulder while still holding on to it. “Sorry about that, I tend to forget my valuable sometimes.” He excused before opening the elevator to go to the parking lot. “Ladies first.” He gestured her towards entering.
· · · vivienne smirked at the short exchange. not bothered by the context behind the smirks thrown between the two. she figured a guy of his demeanor had a few notches on his belt. but who was she to judge when she had a few on her own. it was nothing but fun and games. at least for vivienne. she was confident it was the same for this fellow. offering him a small smile, she entered the lift, waiting for him to join.
