Headcanon - Mt. Lady Agency
The agency is located in the heart of Musutafu.
When she debuted, the agency operated out of her studio apartment because she couldn’t afford office rent. It has since relocated to a small, leased space.
Her office is decorated with posters of the Japanese women’s national football team, some funny pictures she printed off, and photos of-- herself ! She’s quite proud of her shampoo advertisements, because they made a lot of money.
She is fully independent from Kamui Woods and Edgeshot, but they are technically a ‘team’ in that they operate in the same general area and she doesn’t try to bite their heads off when they partner up.
Yu never answers the office phone. She does not own a fax machine. She has read receipts on so that, at the very least, you know she has seen that text you sent her yesterday morning-- which she will probably respond to the next day. Only very urgent things get immediate attention from her. Otherwise, you’re better off finding her in person.
How does she get jobs then, you ask ? Well, most active hero situations are urgent, but beyond that she does patrols, sometimes counts on Kamui Woods and Edgeshot to lead her to the action, and she does read the messages, and listen to the voicemails-- then, she shows up to whatever spot the message mentioned !
Yu loves kids, and generally enjoys working with them ! She’s in her twenties, so she still hangs out on Twitter more than she should, and knows her memes and ( most ) pop culture references. She has “hell yeah, stick it to the man” vibes as a mentor, encourages rowdiness, and is sometimes too rough-and-tumble with the students. She prefers interns with some bulk to them, because she’s less likely to hurt them if she goofs up.
Despite this enthusiasm, she is still a garbage intern coordinator and never knows what to do with the ones she takes on (because, canon whom ? she does try to teach them stuff ). As such, she’s started limiting the pool of interns in her office, only keeping two slots at the absolute max. This includes a temporary first year visiting from one of the high schools, because when they visit there is one intern she has to keep track of. If she already had two interns in-house, she would not take on any student visitors, etc.
She’s never had a sidekick, but would probably count that as one of two spots at her agency, and shrink down to only keeping one intern around.
Her size-related concerns (pun intended) would shift if she ever broke into the top ten pro-heroes, and in turn became more busy. She would need more help around the office then, so would have to bring in more sidekicks-- and would make them coordinate the interns.
All of these thoughts are written down in the one (1) notebook she keeps on her desk. Most other information for the agency is badly organized as reminders and notes in her cellphone, which she told Siri to make.
