Mackie and Jeff infinitely shuffling pages. I’m sure this is the appropriate reaction gif for SOMETHING.
I love Hilary and Jeff. So delightfully snippy and vitriolic about every little thing, and yet they’re completely solid and supportive of each other when it counts.
Rachel Symes wrote a very nice piece for Sunday’s New York Times about Rupert Holmes’ Remember WENN, which has the distinction of being the first original TV series ever to air on AMC. WENN made it…
I read this article when it was originally published, and still have the clipping somewhere. Nice to see it resurrected!
The nearly forgotten “Remember WENN,” from 1996, was AMC’s first original scripted TV show, broadcast 11 years before “Mad Men” arrived on the network.
See? Even The New York Times remembers WENN!
I wish all this 20th-anniversary publicity would produce some results in the form of, say, AMC realizing there’s still enough interest in the show to merit a DVD release…

Did you ever dream of playing with, say, the Boston Celtics? And then, what if as an adult you had an opportunity to be on their team–maybe not as a starter, maybe only as a water boy, but still, the Boston Celtics! Wouldn’t a part of you feel that you couldn’t pass up the chance?

Ruth Geddy: Hillary here was supposed to take over the starring role for me. I didn't think it was very nice of those producers to continue on without me, but I decided to lend my support to Hillary's debacle-erm, debut.
Hillary Booth: You sat in the front row, dead center, and wrote little signs to me.
Ruth Geddy: Just some words of support.
Hillary Booth: Memorable words such as: Titanic, Hindenburg, and Pompeii.
me: *takes deep breath*
