The Global University Employability Ranking 2016
“Going to college or university isn’t just about preparing you for a career, but choosing the right institution and course can certainly impact on your graduate prospects.”
“A global employability ranking, designed by HR consultancy Emerging and published exclusively by Times Higher Education, reveals which universities the recruiters at top companies think are the best at preparing students for the workplace.”
“These 150 universities span 34 different countries, from the US to Japan. Employers voted both for institutions in their own country and universities around the world if they recruit internationally.”

“[Students] already thinking about graduate jobs will be pleased to hear that Canadian universities also maintain an excellent reputation with employers. Thirty universities in Canada have been named by local recruiters as particularly good at preparing graduates for the workplace.”
“The employability ranking … reveals that the University of Toronto is employers’ top Canadian choice when recruiting [and is ranked 14th globally].”
“The survey from which the ranking is produced has been running for six years as a collaboration between human resources consultancy Emerging and employment research group Trendence. It is published exclusively by THE.”

patience.
living with someone who you do not see eye-to-eye with can be challenging in a whole host of ways. you find yourself biting your tongue when they speak out of line or move something out of place. things get even worse when they begin to disrespect and talk down to you. you begin to feel constantly on edge in their presence. it becomes difficult to practice patience, although they say that patience takes practice.

-negatives.
life in boston is overwhelmingly positive. i have a great job that i enjoy, incredible colleagues who have already taught me so much about the professional world, a loving little kitty who brightens my days, and the most incredible boyfriend who makes my heart smile.
//
i only have a few gal pals here in new england. schedules are busy, and life gets in the way of regularly catching up. i find myself lonely at times and missing my friends, especially when the weekend rolls around. i left my mind in new york.
back at it.
sometimes the stars implode, and sometimes they align. luckily for me, graduating college and beginning my adult life has come as the greatest blessing in disguise. graduating at the top of my class and still being denied from ten graduate schools was a low, but landing a wonderful job in a city i have always loved really put things into perspective.
//
i’m a huge believer in fate; “everything happens for a reason,” and “we were put on earth to fulfill a purpose” are two of my main mantras. i wholeheartedly believe that serving the neediest population, worst affected by the U.S.A’s broken healthcare system is my calling. my path has led me to be right where i can make a great difference in the lives of many vulnerable people’s lives, and i couldn’t be more grateful for my role, my mentors, and my colleagues.
//
life rolls in waves, and i am currently at the highest crest. the love of my life and i have been fortunate enough to move to this wonderful new city to build a life together. we have never been better, but then again, when have we ever been bad? a fire inside my heart burns when i am with him, although an innate fear inside my soul keeps me wary that things might not always be this easy. i strive to be brave, and virtuous, and exuberant while continuing down this sublime path that i have paved for my life.
