Apple Watch Nike+ Series 3 (GPS), 38mm Review
So, I just bought Apple Watch’s latest series at Power Mac Center in Trinoma a few days ago and here’s what I can say:
Price: 19,990php
Pros:
- Notifications that mirror on the watch
- Ability to respond on texts or any other messages
- Able to receive calls
- HEART RATE monitor
- Breathe app
- STYLISH
Cons:
- Only compatible with Apple products (iOS: 11.4.1)
- Maximum of 10m away from your phone to be able to send and receive messages or make a call
- Not advised if you’re not into fitness
- Fragile design
- EXPENSIVE!!!
I had the Anthracite/Black strap because the Pure Platinum/Black one dirts out after quite a few uses (refer to the one displayed on stores).
The design’s quite risky. I haven’t bought any case nor screen guard yet because they weren’t available at the mall after purchase. So sad. So I just bought them at Shopee, waiting for them to get delivered!
Here’s the magnetic back part of the watch. It’s the sensor for the charging dock and it senses the heart rate and other essentials.
Here’s what you can see on the strap that differs from the standard Apple Watch Series 3.
The super cool crown that is also a navigation tool for pages up and down and the button that enables you to see or dismiss recently used apps.
My homescreen watchface. You may customize your watch faces using your iPhone.
Here’s what you can see when you’ve opened a message using your watch. Quite a small screen for messages, but it’s perfect when you take public transportations daily or if phones are not allowed during work hours. You can easily check on your watch to see if somebody misses you! Never miss a notification.
You may reply by using emojis or scribble your words out!
Hit send afterwards!
The VERDICT:
I do not regret purchasing one, since it’s such a convenient device despite it’s price. But hey, it’s an Apple? I can’t complain. Anyway, it’s much useful when you’re an exercise junkie. Well, I am not. But I go on a few hikes, I guess it does count quite a bit.
Where to buy?
- Any Power Mac Center branch near you
- You may check online for stores that sell Apple products, but I suggest you buy at PMC only
