I won't return (or at least for a long time), so keeping this account feels meaningless, it reminds me of the harassment I got. But I also think it's a waste. I received a lot of encouragements, and while I am not able to respond individually, I don't want those kindness to be forgotten. I hope to get everyone's opinion on this. Thank you, and sorry.

Never thought that I would be harassed this badly over "shipping", one thing that I care little for. It has always been there since I started posting, but it was so bad this year, that instead of being happy about receiving an inbox, I dreaded it. The funny thing is, everyone else is drawing that "ship", and I sometime draw it myself, yet I still get harassed and thrown accusations at. To the point that I wonder if this is a normal thing.

Does the "kmnm" in your username mean "komanami"? Or am i looking into it too much

It does, naming is hard, so I just glue Komaeda and Nanami, two characters I like, 'names together, plus Nanami's birthday. It doesn't have anything to do with the shipping thing though, I didn't know about that at the time.

Same here. He's super funny, but he is also emotionally/ physically in pain. The saddest clown cracks the funniest joke, I mean.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind messages. I have read through all of them and it fills me with so much happiness. I recognise old faces who had been with me since day 1, along with new faces who are just so kind as to pay attention to this stranger...

It was a long time coming for me, I have been receiving harassment since day 1. Not a lot, but a noticeable amounts, accussing me of wild stuffs, cussing at me...some of it (might be) because I don't depict the "ship" they want or whatever. I had always been able to ignore it, but it does get to a point.

I have decided to close anonymous ask permanently, and will start drawing again next week.

Thank you all once again. Hope we take good care of eachother.

I am begging, but can someone share some kind words? The wave of negativity recently is really getting to me. I can't even look at my own drawings. Some of it leaked over my Twitter...I guess it's really about the shipping thing. I don't care about shipping.

It is what I want to express. If it's anything I don't feel like I express it enough.

Danganronpa itself is not very serious, but it does discuss intersting themes, like self-worth, codependency, trust and betrayal...

And to those topics what must I not do but be extreme?

As to your other asks, I draw what I resonate with, Nagito, yes, but also Chiaki and Hajime. I feel like I have given all my thoughts on Nagito already, and the other interpretations are already explored by many other artists.

Can you draw more serious Komaeda art? That guy has a lot of potential when it comes to fanart, I don’t want to see him as only a goober.
