i want to sit at a bonfire with strangers on the beach i want to watch a sunset with someone i just met i want to hear stories from the wise hike up some canyons somewhere find some hidden caves and fall in love with the free i want to sleep in the car in the dessert explore a forbidden forest i want to smell the air in places i’ve never been i want my eyes in different skies my soul in other cultures i want to absorb every language i want to see everything that’s all i want to do

and when i thought i hated you i needed you the most the dark was darker and the grey were greyer i was hollow without you though i gave myself into the warmth of others i still felt the coldness in the in-between. our hearts were synced, and our souls were stitched. the thoughts of us seemed so sweet on my mind yet bitter when your name was on my tongue so when i thought i hated you i realised how i missed the touch of your skin…
