i purse my lips and look away from him so i don't see the face he makes when he says sorry. i feel bad for pushing him away but i don't want him to get caught up in whatever is happening right now. when he leaves, i glance back at the mirror, seeing nothing. for the rest of the day, i skip all my classes and spend time in the library, trying to find an explanation and a solution. "damn it!" i curse, slamming another book closed. "there has to be something that can help with that... thing!"
meanwhile after classes, kuroko returns to the rooftop on his own. no one was there; only the whispers of the wind were present. he quietly and carefully walks towards the middle of the rooftop. all he could feel was the gentle warmth and no gusts of crisp winds. there he stood for a while yet felt nothing unusual. he decides to leave the rooftop and head down the library.
he arrives at the library and immediately spots you sitting down, getting frustrated with yourself, and a bunch of books messily sprawled out on your table. he chooses not to sit with you, due to how you treated him earlier. he spots kagami inside and plops himself down on a chair beside him, which was much farther from yours, and opens his textbook to study on his own. he doesnât want to think about the unusual events that happened earlier today, but he really couldnât brush it off his mind.
