love love love that Lottie gets to see her own ghost of Laura Lee in this episode, especially as she is the one consistently sticking up for the longevity of Shauna's grief. love love love that Laura Lee's ghost is absolutely horrific and demonic, which is the antithesis of Laura Lee in every way, but so is Jackie's isn't it!!!!! Jackie in life was bubbly and positive and amicable, and Jackie in Shauna's head is cutting and cruel and a demonization of the real Jackie because it's poisoned by shame and grief. the longer we hold onto these ghosts, the more fucked up we make them until they are no longer a memory of the person we loved at all, they're just a haunting. and when even that isn't enough anymore, a possession.
