helloo im sry i abandoned this blog so hard💀 i went back to college and my hyperfixation stopped fixating😭 anyway i was working on this comic when the semester started up and i doubt ill have the time/energy to finish it, but i thought id share my initial idea and sketches and some (woefully unfinished) panels i still dont mind! basically it starred drayton, nancy, and johnny many years ago (he's supposed to be like 8 or something here, the other two maybe in their 40s?)
it was intended to be a little more serious than my usual cringefare, all black and white, and taking place right after nancy kills johnny's pet rabbit that he was keeping in the family house shed (the parallels😭) drayton makes a ham-fisted attempt at comforting him, and it ends on a rly bittersweet note, by sawyer standards it was almost kinda wholesome!
(she's throwing a knife into the kitchen sink here but i just think its funny out of context💀)
i wanted to highlight my headcanons abt what kind of a mom nancy mustve been (namely cruel and impatient im sure💀) and maybe some sympathy drayton mightve had for johnny when he was a kid, considering he says he "wouldn't wish this rotten life off on a one-eyed ferret with mange" in tcm 2, and johnny was forced into it without even realizing😭 idk the timelines probably nonsensical and its completely based on my own perceptions about the characters but i was really into the idea when i started and wanted to try something different!
