i'm an enormous fan of the louvre

i spent seven hours on the playstation yesterday so one could say i'm recovering well

I’m not saying it’s wrong to take care of yourself but when I see posts praising old women for having good skin and no wrinkles because they never sunbathed or smiled or ate sugar it makes me sad. what’s the point? I think if you get to 80 and you have lots of wrinkles and you’re a bit fat it’s a sign of a life well lived

there was a sudden, intense thunderstorm while i was riding a bike home from the movie theater

but i only had fifteen minutes left of my journey, so i decided to keep going. i was soaked and the wind was brutal and there was a ton of flooding, but i was so close to my neighborhood

the first ten minutes took a bit of strategy but i handled it.... then a car swerved into the bike lane at the most flooded intersection of the route and i crashed trying to avoid the car

good news: no broken bones

bad news: i had to walk the rest of the way home (twenty minutes on foot) covered in blood

confession: i am a quiet patron of duolingo. i've used it for years, mostly for its french content; sometimes i dabble in the chess course as well
