Soldier, Poet, King
They’re on their way to see Jade btw.
You guys have spent so long defending fictional women from misogynistic hatred and bad faith criticism that you've crossed over into your own brand of misogyny where you think women are not responsible for their actions. I see Caitlyn as a fully responsible adult human who should be put on trial as such and found guilty of war crimes and executed. If you want to see some women who never did anything wrong, look at Vi, Mel, and even Jinx. Hating Caitlyn does not make me a misogynist, it makes me a rational, moral human being and an antifascist.

Sally Donovan (BBC Sherlock) vs. Caitlyn Kiramman (Arcane)

Propaganda below the cut:
You can NOT be fr💀
Considering she beats her girlfriend, I would say it's more misogynistic to defend Caitlyn than it is to hate her. Where's the long monologue to atone for that? She actually hit Vi multiple times more in their next meeting and it is played as a joke.
I don't know who the other one is but if Caitlyn has one million haters, I'm one of them. If Caitlyn has one hater it's me. If the world is against Caitlyn then I'm with the world. For as long as I live I'll hate Caitlyn.
Hazbin Hotel blog I follow actually took a break from shipping Christian Borle and Amir Talai irl to screenshot my last transandrophobia post and put a black and white filter over it and accuse me of saying white people are victims of racism (Which I did not say) and "going to insane lengths to silence trans women" when I am, in fact, a trans woman (And it's an independent post so I wasn't silencing anyone.)
According to transandrophobia truthers, it is now stupid to say that nonblack people cant experience antiblackness.
I genuinely cant with these people. The lengths that they go to in order to silence trans women are genuinely mind-boggling to me.
there is a non zero chance this was about us and we are not fully black but we are part black lmfao get fucked
I'm a trans woman, dipshit. Additionally, I don't know who the fuck you are.
HAPPY PRIDE FROM OUR AROACE KING!!
It's so refreshing to find Alastor fan content that isn't shipping related
everyone loves to hate terfs until they realise that it actually entails rejecting bioessentialism entirely and then suddenly you’re “taking things too seriously” and you “don’t have a sense of humour” like i’m sorry but saying protect the dolls doesn’t make you immune to terfism it has seeped into every corner of mainstream feminism and unless you’re actively searching it out and checking your own biases you will always be at risk of sharing a space with terfs
“Only women can—” nope. “But all men—” nah. “The divine femininity of—” gonna stop you right there. “Everyone born ama—” if you finish that sentence I’ll kill you. “Men don’t experience—” you’re wrong. “Gender isn’t real but sex is imm—” *loud incorrect buzzer*
It also goes without saying that bioessentialism inherently can’t be trans inclusive no matter how hard you try. “All men including trans men—” probably not. “This is only a woman’s issue—” is it really? “Afabs only—” why? “All trans men are like—” what? what are they like? finish the sentence i dare you.
Super early Father’s Day art. More doodles to come, featuring different stages of Charlie’s life!
The two panel’s silhouette are suppose to be old fashion cameras and a journalist from the early 19th century. Was too lazy to actually draw them out, but they look hella confusing without details. Oh well! There’s more to come so stay tuned.
I hope you all like it.
“They have to be an ethnic group for it to be considered genocide.” Umm…no??? That’s not how it works??? Do you think disabled people weren’t genocided in Nazi Germany cuz they aren’t an ethnic group???
How it feels to watch the finale at cinemas and form your own opinions about the finale and the series itself without engaging in any online discourse or having others tell you the way you're supposed to enjoy the story

This phrase has already entered my vocabulary re: media criticism where like. The viewer has a concrete view of what they expect a story to be based on the tropes and cliches they're used to seeing together, and when that doesn't happen, they judge it as a failed depiction of what they assumed it was going to be instead of judging it as what it actually is.
"This show is problematic because the hero didn't kill the villain at the end": When does he steal the bread?
"These two characters who were close friends throughout the series don't kiss at the end! What the fuck?": When does he steal the bread?
"This feels like it's missing a conclusion! Like, the protagonist does bad stuff and because of a critical decision he makes as a result of his major character flaws, meets tragedy in the end! Where's the part where he learns better and brings is love back from the dead and becomes a good guy and gets a happy ending?": When does he steal the fucking bread??
I heard this out as "When criticizing something, you must judge it for what it is, not what it isn't"
#this is why so many of us urge people to get a wider diet of stories
i’m always saying that everyone understands why the full moon deal was fucked except blitzø because. well first of all because it’s true. but secondly and more importantly, i find it really interesting to play in the space of like. how do you even create a framework for exploitation when you grew up like he did. his survival has always been positioned as conditional to his compliance and his willingness to exchange a certain performance of himself for material needs. yeah, of course it’s transactional. so what? everything is. so the attempt to remove the coercive element of their relationship becomes not only a threat to what he views as stable and comfortable (if it’s just an obligation, you never have to admit you want it, consent is too vulnerable for him, yadayadaya) but what he views as foundational to relationships in general. what does “staying” even look like if he’s not doing anything to earn it? blitzø doesn’t know! he’s never seen that before!
I love Blitz so much.
In general Helluva Boss would benefit from leaning into the fact it's a show about horrible people who do horrible things and often get away with it. Kinda like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Blitz is a misogynist, a sexual harasser to his employees, and a murderer of innocents. Stolas is a rapist. Millie is a bloodthirsty killer and Moxxie ignores his conscience to turn a blind eye to that. These are all great characters! I like them that way! I truly do not want to see Blitz have a character arc and learn killing is wrong (And I'm very glad he hasn't, in spite of the bullshit they were writing him to do in Sinsmas).
PLEASE be good, season 3.
I think Stella was a great character in season 1 of Helluva Boss and the misogynistic dehumanisation that the show puts her (and eventually Via) through over the course of season 2 is also a sign of the show just kinda getting bad.
She doesn't have to be a good or a loving wife. She doesn't have to be a perfect angel. There just has to be some acknowledgement that she was RIGHT to get mad at Stolas for cheating on her and Via was RIGHT to get mad at Stolas for tearing the family apart. Yet both of those aspects are dropped in favour of "Stella is a gold digger and a harpy and an abuser" and "Via just hates all depressed people (???)" in order to sanitise away any possibility that maybe Stolas isn't perfect.
I think Stolas is a good character, but part of a good character IS being imperfect. He made brash decisions that placed his happiness over that of Stella and Via. He exploited his rank and the legal system to rape someone. He is a great look at a guy whose abuse and neglect and unfillment led him to do those things. But the show disagrees, it thinks he's a sad little put upon angel who just wants to be with his boyfriend without his nagging bitch wife and daughter expecting him to take on the responsibilities he has as a father and a husband.
okay but his self sacrifice did nothing to help the villagers he just wanted to die in glory
Fallen Kingdom is reminiscent of an overly complex Arthurian myth, or perhaps Who Killed Captain Alex. It is a random collection of signifiers of plot and setups for emotional response not put together in any meaningful way so as to create a coherent narrative. The king is portrayed from the beginning as a coward and a show-off, who brags to the villagers about great deeds while in fact relying on his guardsmen to deal with a single creeper. What if it was this conceited nature that actually led to his downfall? The way it is, Herobrine destroys the kingdom for no reason, and is able to do it not due to any serious failing of security (Interesting example of the way Herobrine in this era was not used as a weird Digital Horror creepypasta entity, but rather a generic all-emcompassing antagonist. Israphel would have been far better of a choice here.). It is not a tragedy, but a series of meaningless events leant undue pathos by a cover of a sad song.
