Even the others tone hadn’t caught her attention, Setsuna paid closer attention to the words more then anything. He seemed nice enough, and was already paying her more compliments. “I guess I am trusting.. You just seem nice enough to me.” Though he was completely right, and Hinoko might have scolded her, in the very least she trusted her skills enough too get out of most situation- or maybe she really just didn’t care, its hard to tell with her, as the archer dazed through life.
Setsuna took the glorious gift of food, glad to see anything editable within the last few days, if left on her own she would probably had been trapped once more to suspicious berries, then who knows what could have happened. Setsuna waited as the other put sweet smelling medicine on her wounds before chowing down, thought the smell had tempted her, she learned moving around while being treated usually wasn’t such a good idea.
“Well, you’re on the southern border of Izumo.. So you’re pretty close to Mokushu.. I’d stay clear of them, clans of ninja might be a little on edge for a stranger.”
Ninja..?
God, this situation was getting more and more out of hand the longer he listened to her, just what time was he stuck in? Letting out a sigh he plopped his back onto the rather soft grass as he looked up at the sky that looked impossibly like his, though he supposed all skies looked the same.
Well whatever, this situation couldn’t possibly be as bad as he made it out to be, if there were people like her in this world then perhaps not all was lost, even if they were at the brink of war with their neighbor country.. Though that didn’t discount the fact she was an exceptional archer, she wouldn’t be that good with a bow if she didn’t have to be, or she was just extremely talented...
“I hate to ask, but you’re my only hope then, is there any way you can take me to a place where I can help your cause out? I am decent with a sword so I could at least be a shield for you while you fire off your arrows.” Van said as he couldn’t really think of any other solution other then to stick with her for now, but he had no idea if she really knew where to go.. That and she’d be liable to fall into another trap as well if un-escorted, so he would ensure her safe return and hopefully get some more information along the way. Plus, he wouldn’t mind helping out the blue haired beauty.. What was her name again?
“I think I forgot to introduce myself, my name is... Evanders Iskalia, it’s a pleasure to serve you while we are on our journey together!” Van gave a small bow and smile, confident that his manners wouldn’t give away the fact he also used to be an actual knight.
