🌊 charging with the sea 🌊
various ways/intents to charge objects with when you are at the shore
🌊 sea foam - for delicate/love magic
🌊 sandy waters - murkiness, best for curses/baneful magic
🌊 shallow, sweeping waters - for instilling calm
🌊 bury in the sand - strength, unity
🌊 sea salt - purification, cleanliness, newness
🌊 anywhere in the ocean under moonlight - the same as charging with moon water or moonlight, with the added power of the ocean/sea
and remember, don’t charge stones directly in water if they are known to react badly to water or salt ! ! be safe lovelies, be careful not to lose anything in the water either

Soul-Soothing Honey Lavender Cocoa Butter Salve
First of all, to all of my lovely followers - I am incredibly sorry for my long hiatus. I went back to school, graduated with highest honors, and am currently working nights and attending University full-time during the day. I am coming back, but my posts may not be as frequent or regular as they used to be. But that's not why you're here, is it? No no, you're here to learn some witchy stuff! So let's get into it.
Cracked lips and extremely rough skin have nothing on my self-acceptance salve. While originally formulated to be a solid perfume, I tweaked this formula so it's a buttery-soft salve that's tough on dryness but kind to the heart. Formulated with honey, cocoa butter, and lavender oil, this salve will help influence you to create a kinder connection with yourself while soothing cracking, rough lips and skin.
You will need:
A small tin for the finished salve
A small pot with some water
A heat-safe bowl that 'seals' the mouth of the pot
3 tbsp of cocoa butter (Inner connection, heart-softening, peace)
1 tbsp beeswax (Enlightenment, purity) or 1 tbsp soy wax (Enlightenment)
1 tsp honey (Kindness, sweetness, healing)
1 tsp shea butter
3 to 6 drops lavender essential oil - not fragrance oil (Peace, happiness, clarity)
(Optional) 1 vitamin E liquid capsule
What you'll do:
Put the pot of water on the stove and bring it up to a simmer. Do not boil.
Put the bowl in the pot. It should not touch the water, and it should fit the mouth of the pot so that little steam escapes. The bowl will get warm/hot.
Add the 1tbsp beeswax/soy wax into the bowl and melt it, stirring every so often.
Once the wax is melted, add in your 3 tbsp cocoa butter, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp shea butter.
(Optional) Using a thumbtack, safety pin, or small pairing knife, carefully poke a hole in one end of the vitamin E capsule and squeeze the liquid into the mixture.
Stir gently and slowly until everything is melted together.
Once melted, carefully pour the mixture into your prepared tin (put a towel under the tin to prevent messy spills on the counter and protect it from the heat).
While still liquidy, drip in your lavender oil and stir gently.
Let cool until completely solid.
And that's it! Clean up is easy - just put the bowl back over the simmering water and wipe out the residue with a towel. Once the salve is set, you can use it! Chapped lips (I don't recommend putting it on your face other than your lips), rough knuckles, flaky elbows - and while it soothes your skin, it helps soften your connection with yourself, encouraging you to grow into kindness and self-forgiveness. Of course, it won't be this salve that heals you, but its soothing, nurturing properties are a helping hand combined with therapy and coping skills. Remember, witchcraft cannot replace medicine, and that includes helping your mind.
As always, practice safely, do your research, and blessed be everyone! It's good to be back. <3

The Gate of Ruin
The card depicts a tall, broad-shouldered, scheming youth with red-blond hair involved in a change in plans. It is associated with balance, an introduction, a promise, and illusion. Inverted, it represents dexterity, and a failure. The card is torn on one corner. The back is red-orange with willow trees and a mountain. It has a amber border.
