Market Time
The lady in waiting slowly made her way out of the castle, curtseying the different and many guards stationed at the different points on the bottom floor. Sending them each a small smile and nod, Anais was able to slip out and into the garden, where she as able to find a way out and into the road. It wasn’t smart to waste a horse’s energy for her! Besides, she loved looking out at the sea. However, she had a different objective in mind.
Today, she was going to go down and inspect the different fruits and vegetables that came into market. She merely curious, especially because she hadn’t been down there in a while. Though, once she did reach the place, it was overcrowded and loud, something that Anais wasn’t used to. But, she would head into it anyway, trying her best to keep to herself and not make a scene. Her pink hair wisped around her as she turned corners and looked around, sometimes laying flat against the small of her back.
However, she wasn’t expecting it when someone decided to bump into her.
OOF—!
A hungering pang in his stomach and not an ounce of food in his storage left. He gave a slight frown as he closed the door. He had been meaning to stock up but due to some circumstances hadn't been able to. He grabbed his small coin purse and headed out to the village.
His trusty sword by his side, he maneuvered his way through the twist and turns of Altum. He waved at familiar faces and stopped to answer questions that children might have wondered about being a knight. Oh it was a good life. Finally he got to the vast market of the town, food and collectibles expanding as far as the eyes could see.
Making his way first to the produce section his eyes wandered to many variety of berries they offered. From oran, sitrus, to even lum. He hungerly gazed at the food moving sideways not even paying to the people around till-
