Finally, I have something on my needles to knit and it is almost complete! I am knitting a hat and I will be able to deliver my late Mother's Day gift to my mom finally. I finished it over a week ago and now I have something to give my brother as well. Even as it is warming up I still want him to have a hat for himself that he won't be stealing from me any time soon. I am glad to have the motivation back to knit more things. I had a troubling experience recently and I think knitting has been soothing to me. So this is definitely a great coping mechanism. Also been trying to get into watching some new shows. What are some things you do to feel better when situations aren't the best? I can't wait to deliver my gifts and spend time with family safely.

I am kind of conflicted when it comes to making something. I know I want to finish some UFO’s (unfinished objects) but I am also really in the mood to knit a scarf. An entrelac scarf to be very specific. Something that will be pleasing to the eye but keeps my hands moving without being too overwhelming to knit up. I know it’s getting into the summer months and knitting traditionally warm knitwear isn’t ideal but I like to stay creative.  I am going back and forth with myself as I try to find something to knit after making such a great project I was so focused for 10 days straight. I am also considering just knitting through my stash. I have some nice bright acrylic yarn that I can make into great hats and give them to family and friends. What projects would you consider knitting during this time even with options available to you?

I really hope that when quarantine is over, people appreciate all the art they have consumed for free and think about maybe giving something back. Please leave comments on fic. Please reblog artwork. Please try and consider that creators have been on lockdown just the same as you and still making content for you to enjoy.

I have two projects I am unfinished projects that I want to complete before the end of May which is a huge undertaking. A sweater that has a half body and mostly completed sleeve and a single sock that hasn’t been turned at the heel yet. Between my two options, they would be simple projects I am sure would take about a week apiece but I feel like I might be moving slower? This may just be in my head as I have just completed a shawl with increasing stitches and a daunting task ending with something like 450 live stitches. I am proud of the feat and will be happy to report on the decision that I make as the day comes. What are some of your difficulties when it comes to picking up a new crafting project? Do you normally stay on the same path and make more of the same item or switch it up?
