I've done it! Feeling really pleased and proud of myself! After loads of vinegar and WD40 and old rags, the dusty rusty old dressform is now a beautiful vintage beauty. The old type of adjustable dressform is not the most convenient to use, but I can deal with that. The restoring is an interesting process. Perhaps it's because I've been watching too much HGTV lately ... I think I love renovating and restoring old stuff! Now, I need a name for my dressform. 😄
Making progress on the dress form renovation. It looks like a mess now ... patience! I need patience!
Got this from Craiglist ... pretty old and the metal parts are rusty. So the first sewing-related project in 2015 would be to give this babe a new coat. 😄
It’s probably quite easy to be ‘anti-medication’ if you’re privileged enough not to need medication to feel normal.
Shaming people for taking medication just to get through their lives is pretty horrid.
