             Hello there ! My name is Jenni, thank you for the interest in my blog ! A few things to get out of the way first : I am 30 years old, and I’m a mother to a little boy who is currently in school. I am not online all the time, as I am either helping the smol one with his school work, at work myself, or simply doing things around the house / playing video games. I do get online as much as possible, so you will definitely see me online -- that said, that doesn’t mean that my replies will be fast.  My discord is available by request ( though, I have been known to post it publicly here and there ). I have been roleplaying for 16+ years. I am not new to tumblr, but I took a long break from this site. I have two blogs ( @depvtywalsh​ ), who is currently low-activity as my muse is acting up a bit, and this one. This blog was established 6/16/20, and I am constantly trying to figure out what new muses I want to add to my blog. It’s a problem, really. Mentioning muses : I do have a tendency to fixate on certain muses, but never feel like my others are off limits. You can simply send memes or just an IM to request a muse, at any time ! Sometimes, I will have more muse for certain characters, so there will be times when replies come slower & I do apologize. But my IMs / discord are always open for you to come and chat / plot / fangirl over our storylines / ships.  All I ask for is : patience.  Thank you for the follow & I hope to write with you soon !

i'm so sorry that i haven't been very present here. i've been so busy with work and then things just kept coming up today. if my brain can manage, i'll try to get to some replies tonight, but i don't want to force it and put out something terrible. thank you guys for being patient with me :' ) i love y'all so much, you don't even know.

Not answering asks doesn't mean I don't want to interact with you.

PLEASE never assume that because I haven't answered an ask that it's due to me not wanting to interact with you.

Sometimes I honestly just forget. If I've gotten tired, started doing something else, need to go do something, I do just genuinely forget it's there and don't remember until I next get an ask and see it there by which time I usually just panic cos I'm not sure if it's too late to reply to or not.

My brain might be drawing a blank. There are days when my brain is more creative and sometimes it struggles to think of the simplest thing and it just goes blank. I don't want to force it because I won't feel confident about what I'm writing and don't wish to just throw rubbish at you for the sake of responding.

Simple reasons that I've already mentioned a bit, I might just not have muse and again I don't want to throw garbage at you to just get something out if I'm not happy with it.

I might not have been on that blog for a while. There are times when I spend a few days, weeks or even months on other blogs so sometimes I don't see it or I'm just not writing that muse at the time.

These are all I can think of atm, but please know that it's not out of hatred or judgment if I don't respond to an ask, whether it's random asks or after I reblog memes. If I didn't like you or didn't want to interact with you, I wouldn't be following you so please, please, please, know that it's nothing against you.

"You're doing really good," Enid tells her. And she is, she's sitting plenty still to give Enid an easier time. Which she knows must be difficult, considering they don't have so much as a numbing cream. Enid has been lucky enough that she hasn't needed any stitches herself, but once or twice someone had started crying from the pain alone.

Enid's blushing. She knows it's still light enough out that she shouldn't hope Sophia doesn't notice, but she does anyway. Enid shakes her head a little, trying to piece her words together before she answers. "Yeah, sorry. I've just been reading so much, trying to study as much of this doctor shit as I can." It's technically the truth, only Enid is leaving out the fact that she's intentionally been doing most of said studying in one of her hiding spots. The bond between her and Sophia is unique, the only other girl her own age Enid has really gotten to know. But the more her thoughts begin to shift the more she finds herself avoiding her friend like the plague. Everything becomes too strong to ignore when they're together.

"What? You don't wanna be part of club testosterone? Play with bugs and smell like stinky socks?"

Enid was very smart, she'd always known that, so she wasn't surprised when she'd begun to pick up all this medical stuff. Selfishly, it was a little disappointing though : Sophia no longer had another girl her age to hang out with. It was mostly boys, and they just wanted to play games or sneak around outside the walls. And yeah, that stuff was fun, but Sophia didn't want to spend time with them like she wanted to with Enid. Things were just different with her.

Sophia laughed at her comment about the boys, and she simply shook her head. " Yeah, it definitely gets old, " she admitted, " it was a lot more fun when you were around -- now, it's just . . . boring. " She didn't mention that the boys often made her feel left out, whether it was intentional or not. Enid had always been the one to make sure that she felt included, even if it was just a question tossed in her direction, hoping to drag her into conversations. Now, it felt like the roles were reversed with Sophia desperately trying to drag Enid into their social circle once more. " Next time you're free, maybe we could do something? Just us, no stinky boys. "

Logan snuggled against Eleanor, finding comfort and solace in the hug. It was almost like hugging Mom again, except for the noticeable baby bump she had. Logan had always wanted siblings, but it had never happened; he wondered if that's what he and the baby were now, if he agreed to help Miss El. He didn't have to call her Mom or anything.

It was way too soon. Too soon to even think of calling another woman Mom, or even something like that.

"You don't have to put your fingers in your mouth." The boy giggled a bit, pulling away once Eleanor was ready to let him go. "Dad taught me how to whistle loud."

He did whistle, in a long drawn out way, content to do so in an empty house where the sound wouldn't carry and he could kind of show off. It was the same whistle that Mom used to get Dad's attention when he was busy on the other side of the house or outside doing chores.

It was another reminder of her, but Logan felt closer to her using the same whistle she did.

Logan entertained himself with exploring the rest of the home they were scavenging, happy to exchange one of his tattered blankets for a much less hole-y one.

"Does the baby want veggies?" He asked, climbing into one of the stools near the counter and dragging over a can of green beans to look at before packing away into his bag. "Mom and Dad told me that I made Mom crave the weirdest shit."

She was surprised when he let out a loud whistle, the noise making her laugh and cover her ears. " Okay, okay, show off, " she giggled, shaking her head. It was nice to have a conversation that wasn't so grim -- things were so dark and gloomy nowadays, it was just nice to be able to smile and laugh the whole way through. When Eleanor had scavenged a few cans of green beans, making a comment about how excited she was for the vegetables, her eyes shot over toward Logan when he spoke. " Yeah, " she admitted, shrugging her shoulders, " I haven't really craved anything weird yet though. Green beans have always been good, but now? It's like finding gold. " Eleanor figured that she likely didn't have cravings because she had just forgotten what good food tasted like or maybe it was that her body was just starved to the point that anything would do. Regardless, these green beans were a hell of a find, and she would be sure to celebrate that later. " You about ready to hit the next house? " she asked, wanting to let the kid take the lead on their little adventure, " I'm willing to be the next place has candy. " A long shot, but a girl could dream, right?

Enid hadn't felt so shaky tending to someone's wounds since Aaron's amputation. Which, considering what's leaving her so anxious now, is a ridiculous comparison. Because an amputation without anesthesia really should not be compared to a simple set of stitches.

But it isn't simple, because the stitches are for Sophia, on the spot just below her collarbone that she has to wear only a tank top with the strap pulled down for Enid to access properly. It's been long enough now that Enid knows the way she notices girls ins't just a phase, but this leaves her even more anxious about it than before. Are people still homophobic in the apocalypse? She makes a mental note to ask Aaron next time she sees him.

"Almost done," Enid says, for both their sake. Thank god she's gotten so good at keeping her composure or she'd be a shaking mess. "You're gonna have to take it easy for a few days, you know, or else we'll end up right back here tomorrow."

It wasn't like Sophia to go against her mother's wishes, especially when it was a matter of her own safety. Carl had convinced her to go outside the walls with him. " It'll be fun, c'mon. " And it was fun, she couldn't argue that . . . nor did she try. But in classic Sophia fashion, her clumsiness decided to make a fool of her. A couple of walkers had shown up and in the midst of her panic, Sophia had run through some brush in the forest, a limb scraping across her chest. The stick left a pretty gnarly cut there . . . one that she didn't dare tell her mother about, but instead, went to Enid for help.

Bright blue eyes lingered on the other girl's face as she worked, the concentration evident in the way that she would squint her eyes. Sophia's hands clenched tightly into fists ; each time the needle pushed through her skin, she would hold her breath, not daring to move in the slightest. Almost done. She nodded slightly, her gaze lowering to eye the wound as Enid scolded her about taking it easy. " That wouldn't be such a bad thing though, " she responded, looking back to Enid with a small grin, " it's just -- you always seem so busy now, so it's kind of nice to be able to spend some time with you. Not so fun hanging out with the guys all the time, I definitely need my girl time. "
