INTRODUCTION

hello!! finally making a good & proper intro, but pretty much this is just a blog for me to rp with my outlast reagent oc, whether it be answering asks, saying random shit when I feel like it, or roleplaying with the other lovely blogs on here (which so far has been a very rewarding experience). here for fun; will occasionally yap about cliff (🍷) and maybe dive into his lore when I feel like it

Nothin' too unusual... mostly the normal gestures every reagent 'here uses, though we have a few special ones of our own. Sometimes stare down at his mouth to see if I can learn how to read them — even if they're covered most of the time.

Phrases... hm, sometimes I tell them he did a good job after a trial — let's them know we made it. Though, maybe it's working a bit too well with ta' whole "messiah" thing...

Didn't really speak or know each other when I got stuck here. After getting this suit he came up after a few weeks o' wearing it 'n did a trial together. He was very chatty 'n pushy... tryna get to know me 'n shit. But I think... he had good intentions.

Honestly, I didn't pay Gimp much attention. In my eyes, he was just another' reagent trapped here like the rest of us. The suit helped him stand out... showed that he was good at this.

Saw them at the terminal about to start a trial I was plannin' on and asked if we could do it together. Took it to get to know 'em, and now here we are. Glad I took the chance.

Bigger. 'N everything really. Broader and stronger than I could ever be. The costume tends to throw me off though. Got a nice face... conventional... makes me wonder why he's here in the first place.

As for himself... Cliff's... he's an enigma. Considerate 'n stupidly dedicated to anything he wants. Though I guess that's out the window durin' a trial with Coyle...

Plump. Sinyala's definitely done a number on his body... thinner than he should be. The costume is attention grabbing for sure, but I think the scars are a bigger feature in my eyes. Completes the look...

In personality, he's... brash. Not 'fraid to fuck up an ex-pop when they need to. I can admire it, not to mention how many times he's helped me through a rough trial. It's a trait worth admiring.

Turns out they weren't lying when they said you can bite off a finger like a carrot. Do not recommend and uh... you wouldn't happen to have a bandage or two lyin around?

They looked down at their hand, glove gone and stained with blood. It dripped from where his pinky would have been... now gnawed off to the third joint. His hands shook, coming together to interlock when he sat down. Each rise of his chest felt like a horse trampling over his ribs. Gimp squeezed his eyes shut and forced his mind elsewhere, the pain seeping in as his adrenaline high wore off.

Why did I do that..? Who- who was coming for me?? They grinded their teeth. Was...was I that hungry? A frustrated grumble mixed with ache and exhaustion managed to slip out of him as he waited for Cliff. His savior.

Cliff retrieved the bandages, holding them in his hands while Gimp sat in front of him. He admittedly did not have much on his person; all he had were the bandages he was currently using and a small thing of medicine stuck in his pocket. Once he was back, he knelt in front of Gimp, resting on his knees before grabbing Gimp's hand with rare gentleness.

"Christ, Gimp," he murmured, still debating whether or not he should berate Gimp for doing such a foolish thing or to pester them for answers. "Th' hell happened to you?"

He held Gimp's injured hand in one of his, wrapping the bandages around the hand and bleeding stub. It was amateur work with his very clear lack of medical "experience", already knowing that Gimp would need to visit the doctors for further help. But for now he was doing the best he could, his other hand resting on Gimp's knee with the occasional squeezes and press to keep Gimp from squirming too badly.
