Admin Nova’s first scenario oh boy
Pairing: Inseong x Reader
For the first time in his life, Inseong is anxious. He has no idea why, he’s definitely done more nerve-wracking things than introducing a girl to his band mates. Maybe it’s because of how excited you are to meet them, or maybe it’s the way you’re dressed extra nice to make a good impression. Whichever it is, it’s causing him to get a bad feeling in his stomach.
As you two approach the door to the dorm, Inseong begins to feel a bit better about acquainting you to the rest of KNK. They’re all nice and respectful, he’s not worried about anything happening.
“One thing, it’s a bit messy. It’s mainly Jihun. He can never pick up after himself.” He warns you as he grants access inside.
The hallway isn’t bad, spare a few shoes laying around and coats hung up carelessly on the rack. The main room is where it begins to look like a tornado swept through.
“Uh, are you sure this was all because of Jihun, or did you guys let wild boars free in here?”
Inseong laughs at your little comparison, picking up a damp towel in the walk way an throwing it to the side.
“I feel like you’re forgetting; Jihun is a wild boar.”
As if on queue, the devil himself walks in, only clad in a pair of boxers.
He freezes upon seeing you. In no time, he’s bolting back into his room yelling, “We have company!”
Inseong scratches the back of his neck in embarrassment watching you laugh at how unprepared this is.
“I should’ve told them you were coming, huh?” He asks you. You are quick to shake your head.
“No, it’s nice seeing the real KNK.”
With a snort, Inseong crosses his arms, “Filthy and half naked?”
You smirk, making the male immediately regret saying that.
It’s not too long until Jihun comes back out, fully dressed in a pair of black jeans and a gray sweatshirt. The other members are no where in sight, and considering Jihun came out with barely anything on, maybe that’s a good thing. For Inseong, at least.
“Hello! I’m sorry, I honestly wasn’t expecting Inseong to bring home anyone... I’m Kim Jihun.” He holds his hand out for you to shake, and you do not hesitate to do so.
“It’s okay! I’m Y/N, I’m a pretty big fan of KNK!” You tell him a little too excitedly.
He smiles brightly, “Really? Thank you! Are you a friend of Inseong’s?”
Inseong decides to answer for you, “Yeah, I decided to take her/him to meet you guys. Speaking of, let me go get the others.”
He leaves, leaving you and Jihun alone in the living room. With a guy like Jihun, you’d expect the atmosphere to be a bit awkward, but he breaks the ice right away.
“I want to apologize again for that whole... Thing. Also, this mess. You’re probably alarmed by it, aren’t you?” Jihun’s genuinely concerned, he hates scaring off guests with their pigsty of a home, and on top of that, you probably weren’t anticipating to see that much of him. Or maybe you were, he doesn’t know that.
“It’s fine, I promise. Believe it or not, I’ve seen worse.” You assure him.
He raises his eyebrows in surprise, “You have? Like what?” It’s news to him that he has competition. He has yet to see a mess worse than his, nor does he think one exists. But, you do know something that’s easily comparable to this.
Jihun smirks, confidence in his mess-making abilities still high, “I don’t believe that, you seem so neat and polished.”
“That’s what you think. If I didn’t have a roommate, my house would probably look like this too.” You tell him honestly. It’s a weird thing to bond over, but Jihun already likes you. There aren’t many people that can accept his messes.
“I have 4 and our house is still like this.” You roll your eyes, not ready to be defeated.
“Yeah but your roommates aren’t neat freaks.” Jihun grins, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“I’m afraid you’re wrong. Seungjun and Youjin gave up long ago.”
When Inseong walks in, all he sees is how close you two are compared to when he left. This is what he was afraid of.
“Okay, but my room is still pretty crazy.”
“I won’t believe that until I see it.”
This is where Inseong draws the line. He brought you so you could meet his members, but none of them are even awake except for one, who is clearly (in Inseong’s perspective) trying to flirt with you.
“Y/N, come with me for a second.”
He doesn’t even wait for a response, he just takes your wrist, dragging you into his room to address the situation.
You’re confused as to why he suddenly brought you here, and why he’s so angry.
“Are you clueless? Jihun is trying to hook up with you! I won’t believe it until I see it, is he really going for that? I can’t believe-”
You cut him off, knowing somewhat as to why he’s angry.
“Inseong, relax. He probably didn’t mean it like that.” You try to soothe him. You still don’t understand why this has him so tense.
“I know Jihun, that’s obviously what he meant. Besides, it’s you.”
He watches your eyebrows scrunch together. You’re still lost, and what he just said made it worse.
“What do you mean, its you?”
He sighs, looking down at the ground. He’s trying to come up with the right thing to say.
“Y/N, you are an amazing person. You’re gorgeous, funny, comfortable to be around... I just,” He looks back up to you, trying to figure out your reaction, but your face is unreadable, mainly because of how confused and surprised you are.
Before he can turn to leave, you grab his arm to stop him and pull him into a hug.
“Inseong, if you were worried about me liking Jihun more than you... That’ll never happen.”
A smile finds its way onto his face. Everything he was nervous about is no longer bugging him, and as long as you continue to like him more than everyone else, that smile will continue to shine whenever he’s with you.
RIP I’m so sorry ;-; I hope it wasn’t that bad?? I’ll keep on trying to improve, I promise ^^
