Knotâs Super Birthday Spectacular
Iâll be doing an art stream at https://picarto.tv/Knotfairy.Â
It will start around 7:00 pm.
Come join me! Weâll save you cake.
Dear papa, I am writing to you to acquire your assesistence for matters of vampiric nature. I have seem to have gotten into a misunderstanding with the local coven, and I would like some assistance. We are at 124 Oak street in Bucharest. -Ingeras ((Translation: dad a bunch if vamps found my weakness, come save me)) -knotfairy
Vlad stared at the letter for a moment and shook his head. He called for one of his bats and penned a quick note in reply. Oh my dearest boy,Still so headstrong ? At least this time, you have entered my territory, and if they have dared to lay a hand on you, then their worst nightmares are about to descend upon them. I am coming.Papa.
The creature did not hesitate but grasped the small piece of folded paper in itâs talons and flew off into the night, Vladâs thoughts directing it to the house in question. Without ado, he stepped out onto the wide balcony of his chamber in Castle Dracula and like a great bat himself, flew up into the night sky, the flurry of smaller forms spreading out like wings around him.
It was not long before he reached the Capital, and alighting on a rooftop opposite the house, he assessed the situation. He could sense his sonâs presence but there were others there too.Â
Oh why, oh why did he send that letter to his dad? He should have sent it to his friends, at least then there wouldnât have been a blood bath! But there was no going back now, whatâs done is done. And Ingeras might possibly have to bargain for his attackers lives. What a great way to start a Friday.
Ingeras gave a small sigh as he put down the small note. Things were going to get hot real quick, he knew this because he wasnât in good shape  himself. And once his dad sawâŠ. Well, no questions there.
The vampires that Ingeras picked a fight with were part of a rouge sect that split off from the main coven, Ingeras wouldnât have bothered normally; however, the group was hunting down people and draining then dry which was a big no no on his land. And of course a fight ensued, but some during the fight, the vampires figured out Ingerasâs weakness to human blood. Which brings us to today.
Ingeras was covered in acid like burns, caused by the contact of blood against his skin, he had a burning fever and felt as if he was going to pass out any minute.
Yeah, his dad was hoping to love that.
Update
Sorry I havenât been on here, I just started to attend university. I should be back this Weekend. Donât worry, the rotgdarkmoon advent ending credits are still happening. I just need time.
"Master Kyp!" Called a auburn haired girl as she raced towards the jedi master, with little Ingeras trailing close behind. "Can-can we ask you a question?" She asked motioning to Ingeras, who was still trying to catch his breath. "Why did the old jedi banish attachment?" She asked.
Kyp paused when he heard his name called, and turned to see the two children running up. He was pleased to see Ingeras, even if heâd sought him out with apparent friend in tow.
It took a moment to sort out the rapid-fire words. âBan attachment? Oh, that.â
He gestured to a nearby cluster of seating, and lowered himself into a cozy chair. âActually, for a really long time, they didnât. Iâm not sure when they started doing that, but it was because of a few things. They thought that no Jedi should favour one person over another. They didnât want the Jedi building dynasties and bloodlines, because the Sith were all about purity and power from having really good bloodlines. And, they thought that having attachments would create distractions and vulnerability. If youâre worried about your spouse or children, youâre not as focused on the mission, or so they thought.â
âWe didnât used to be on Coruscant,â Kyp told the children. âWe were on Yavin IV to start, when Luke decided to teach others. For a long time, it was just him. I was part of the first class of Jedi. We had to leave Yavin IV when the Yuuzhan Vong attacked. We were homeless for a while, until we rebuilt the academy on Ossus.â Kyp nodded to Alida. âBut we had to relocate the students because of Darth Caedus. Most are in the Hapes cluster, on Shedu Maad. Weâre using a base there until we determine if we can return to Ossus or not. One of our people rediscovered the Temple here during the war with the Yuuzhan Vong, but it took a while to make it liveable again. Weâve only been using it again for a few years.â Frankly, Kyp was tired of constantly moving. But he didnât say that. âThe Purge, as weâve discovered through records here in the temple and stored elsewhere, was committed by people the Jedi trusted and didnât expect, so they didnât see it coming when it happened. The cloned army they were working with had a ⊠subliminal message planted in their heads even they didnât know about, and when Palpatine triggered it, they attacked and killed the Jedi. Then Darth Vader hunted down the survivors. We donât blindly trust like that anymore, and we have a lot of defenses built in to prevent it from happening again. Ingeras has seen some of the security droids we have all around the Temple.â
Ingeras felt his heart rate increase with the mention of âsecurity droidsâ, the boy was still struggling with nightmares of the fateful day that he and his father broke into the jedi archives.Â
âHow long did it take you to fix up the temple?â Alida piped up glancing at Ingeras. Â
"Um....Kyp? I-I'm sorry that....That I was rude to you...Your advice...W-was really helpful..."
Kyp looked up from his datapad, seeing Ingeras just inside the doorway of his office. He set the report down and motioned to the chairs on the other side of the desk.
âItâs alright,â he said. âFirst impressions are hard to get past, huh?â
Ingeras hesitantly shuffled into the room, a momentary thing was turning out ot be longer than expected.Â
Gripping the edge of the chair (not sitting down however) the boy nodded; âYeahâŠIâm still-â he stopped himself and looked down-âitâs ok I guessâŠI know why you were mad when we first met..So..â Ingeras trailed off as conflicting emotions began to turn about like a warring sea.
âI should apologise, too. I scared you pretty bad, didnât I? Iâm sorry I did.â
He knew Ingeras didnât want to be here, but that he had faced up to the fear and come to give and apology that wasnât really necessary meant a lot.
âI just wanted to keep you from running away. Iâm told I can be very dramatic,â he added wryly.
âBut why did you use the force to do it?â He asked, distraught rang on every syllable. âI thought jedi werenât supposed to use their force abilities against the helpless?â Ok, so his father wasnât helpless. But, it still wasnât far (in Ingerasâs mind) to use the force against someone who had no means to fight against it. Â
âWellâŠâ Kyp tried to think of it in terms a ten-year-old would understand. âIâve been a Jedi for thirty years. Using the Force is instinct. I didnât hurt you with it. I would never do that. I just grabbed, like⊠Reaching out to snag the back of someoneâs shirt. Same principle, just an invisible hand. That isnât against our code. And Ares was armed, not helpless. I didnât know if he would shoot at me again, or what you were even doing there. You could have been his hostage. I just stopped him, and you since he was holding you, in the quickest, least violent way guaranteed to prevent harm coming to anyone. Iâm sorry that it scared you.â
âBut you were thereâŠYou heard me call him papa..â Ingeras mumbled out as he glanced down at his feet. He felt an extreme mix of emotions, he understood what the master jedi was saying that yes, his father shoot at him, and the jedi had been using the force for quite a whileâŠBut stillâŠThere was no reason to activate the security droids.Â
Ingeras only simply give a small nod at the otherâs apology, he still wasnât to sure what to make of the master jedi.
âI hadnât heard immediately. I didnât realise. You donât need to be afraid of me. I wouldnât dream of hurting you or any of the other children. I just want to help you.â
He leaned his elbows on the black surface of the metal desk. Unlike some of the masters, he didnât have a fancy desk. Comfy chairs, but also simple ones. Pretty utilitarian furniture. When heâd been younger, he probably would have made things flashier, but at present, his only concession to ego was his new speeder, since someone had stolen his old one.
âIâve been where you are,â he told the boy. âNot identical circumstances, true, but when I was a little younger than you, I lost my parents. I was in a scary, new situation and didnât know what to do. But a nice old woman, a Jedi in hiding named Vima Da Boda took me under her wing. Then Han found me, brought me here to Coruscant.â
Ingeras was again silent, his gaze drifted to the floor. âOkay,â he said finally without looking up. âI-Iâll trust you..âÂ
Ingeras shoulders dropped in defeat.as he finally looked up at the master jedi, âIâll trust you,â he repeated. âUntilâŠUntil you give me a reason not toâŠâ
Ingerasâs eyes returned to the floor, a large part of hims was screaming not to trust the jedi, to run-run as far away as his legs could carry him. However, there was another part of him that said, trust him. That everything was going to be ok.Â
The boy stubbornly stared at the floor, waiting for the older jediâs response.
âYou can trust me,â Kyp promised. âI wonât hurt you. Iâd rather cut off my own hand with a fork. Actually, now that youâre here and not running away, I have something to tell you.â
The Jedi Master rose from the desk and crossed to the sofa by his bookshelf. âCome sit, Ingeras. This might take a while.â
He sat at one end, making sure to give Ingeras enough room of his own.
Ingeras watched the older male make his way to the sofa, glancing at the time the youngling stated;Â âUh, I have galactic history in a few minuets...I-I need to go...â With that, Ingeras gave a small nod and turn towards the door.Â
The boy still felt nervous around the older jedi, but at least he apologized. Maybe next time they would hold a longer conversation.

âThis is you papa, I should tell that Vanhelsing fellow about this. Or, sell ticketsâŠâ
Vladâs brows knit. â Donât you dare ! Heâs enough of a smug bastard already, I donât want to give him any more excuses to make fun of me. Itâs going.. I promise, just as soon as Mina buys some dye!.â
âPapa, that stuff is never going to come out. Ever. I will be a miracle to get it a dark shade once more.â
â No.. that canât be true, women dye their hair  all sorts of colours all the time.. surely.. Oh I see, you think itâs funny to alarm me. â [ Hastily texts Mina to reassure him that it can be dyed back]
âWhatâs alarming is your hair, also havenât you noticed that those women who dye their hair, hair isnât the exactly the same after wards? Did you use bleach, or hair dye to turn your head into a lemon?â
"Vlad," Mirena's voice called out; "Vlad I know you like to sleep in, but you have a meeting in an hour! Poor Canzen is going to pass out if you miss it."
Groans as he got up. âAlright, alright.â Getting dressed though half asleep he wandered out kissing Mirenaâs cheek. âThank you for waking me. I could sleep for days.âÂ
Mirena chucked;Â âI know, but this meeting is to important for you to miss-â The sound of loud shouting suddenly cut the princess off. âLooks like their here,â she sighed.Â
âGood luck, Vlad.â She said as he gave her husband a quick peck on his cheek.
Pikachu was walking around the area. He shivered a little feeling a little cold. He stood on his hindlegs looking at the sky. Oh boy, he was lost and it was getting colder by the minute.
A cold day greeted route three as a young boy with longish dark blond hair, and blue eyes raced around with fennekin along the lush green hollows collecting wigs and such.
The boys name was Alexandru, and the fennekinâs name was Rica. Alexandru and Rica were partners, new partners actually. They just started their journey together yesterday. They probably would have been here earlier if they did not spend the entire day yesterday running around Aquacorde town; getting into trouble, exploring, the normal things 11 year olds do.Â
Twigs? Uhhhhh⊠Not for him, but the offer was kind. His ears flopped down and scratched the back of his head. âPikachu,â he laughed. He took the other poke puffs and ate more. He was starving. Yay for the rescue!Â
Rica tilted his head, so, he doesnât eat twigs...Oh well! And with that, the fennekin gave a happy wig of his fluffy tail. Secretly glad that he got to keep all the twigs to himself. Meanwhile, Alexandru continued to place poke-puff after poke-puff before the pikachu until, he was all out.
âIs that enough? Are you feeling better now? Do you need us to get you some berries?â The boy asked eagerly as his hands fidgeted with a few strands of grass.
"Nightmare Galleon, Nightmare Galleon, this is Mother Nature of Earth, come in, over."
Orion grabbed the radio, narrowing her eyes at the speaker. It was rare for someone to call them and usually they were calling to issue threats or call to battle. She flipped the switch and grabbed the mic, snorting at the womanâs voice.
âThis is Quartermaster Orion of the Nightmare Galleon. May I ask who the fuck is this and why are you calling? Over.â
Mother Nature felt herself sneer, before replying; âThis is Mother Nature of Earth. Requesting to come aboard offering medical aid to those who need it. Over.â Try as she might (which was not much really), Mother Nature could not hid the bite in her words. She was still recovering from the war, and was more difficult to deal with than normal at the present moment.
âWe have more than enough personnel to take care of our crew,â she said. âNow be on your wa-â
âORION, DONâT YOU DARE!!â
The Surgeon pushed the Quartermaster out of the way. âWhere are your manners Orion?!!â She then turned to the radio and began to speak. âForgive our Quartermaster. She is paranoid and wary after the recent battle. You something about offering aid?â
Mother Nature cocked an eye brow at the new speaker. She herself was about to hang up if not for the new voice. âThis is Mother Nature of earth. Offering medical aid to those who need it. Over.â She repeated, barely suppressing her impatience. By now, Mother Nature was beyond annoyed. If they wanted help just say it, she did not have the luxury to wast time like this.Â

âBut, why did they start taking away children?â Ingeras asked with out a second thought. âWhen they started taking away force sensitive children from their parents, it caused negative relations between the public and the Jedi Order. Why would they purposely do something that would effect them negatively?â
The girl looked at the master Jedi, eager to hear the response. While Ingeras, realizing who he was talking to, slouched in his chair in an attempt to hide.
âI guess because they believed that, in order to have better loyalty to the Order, they needed to only know the order.â Kyp shrugged. âYou canât be attached to parents you donât know. I think it was a bad idea, personally. And they didnât always do it. Thousands of years ago, the Jedi married, had children, raised them in the Order. Or, if the child had the Force but the parents didnât, they still got to keep in contact, though they did go to live with a teacher if they were old enough.â
He glanced at Ingeras briefly. âA lot of our information was destroyed by Emperor Palpatine when he and Darth Vader hunted down the Jedi. Whatâs your name, anyway?â he asked the girl.
âAlida Wing, Master Kyp,â Alida replied cheerfully.
âBut that still does not make any sense. that must of known that they were causing bad relations with the public? That was part of the reason why is was so easy for Emperor Palpatine to turn the public against the jedi, right?â Ingeras spoke up again once more, this time; however, he did not shrink away. Far to interested in the conversation at hand.Â
âItâs hard to tell if it created bad relations. Public opinion can turn on a cred chip,â he told the children. âAnd people trusted Palpatine. He was very personable and a grandfatherly type until he revealed himself to be a Sith.â
That was what his parents had told him, anyway. His father had been fourteen when Palpatine had become Emperor, his mother almost five. Arrick, at least, had remembered a time before the Purge.
âHe lied and told the people that the Jedi had done terrible things, that theyâd had a hand in starting the Clone War. Everyone wanted the war to stop, and since Palpatine, whoâd started it himself, blamed the Jedi, people wanted to believe him.â
âThen why are the Jedi still on Coruscant?â The boy asked shifting a little in his seat. âIf what you say is true, then wouldnât it be better if the Jedi were located away from the public? To prevent another purge?âÂ
Alida looked at her friend with wide blue eyes, âIngeras, the Empire isnât here any more. Itâs not like people are going to come marching up the steps,â she reasoned.
Ingeras looked down, people did come marching up the steps once before- during the purge. And the jedi of that time had no way of stopping it. It made the  boy a bit uneasy to be surrounded on all by people whoâs opinions could change so easily. Back in the outer rim, even though it was a ruff, lawless, place-the inhabitants werenât stupid. You couldnât be in the outer rim. You had think for yourself, look, listen-be aware. But here.....In the upper levels....
