The backdrop really helps with showing the different macrame pieces now! I’m going to change it soon, thinking a solid grey shade with subtle texture maybe. We will have to wait and see (what’s on clearance)

Been home sick for almost a whole week now.

Freaky feather doodles really started up when CH and I got deep into vulnerable feelings talks lately. And I have therapy in an hour. Probably related. Reeeaaallly scared of working on the suppressed emotion bomb I only recently discovered, but it isn’t going to go away

Good news is that CH and I reached a point of understanding where I feel safe enough to try. He’s able to support me when I’m beyond knowing what to ask for and that’s huge.

So I guess here goes. I think I’ll take them with me

Pedro, the bestest dog I’ve known this far. I still can’t write anything with substance about him without breaking down, but someday I’ll have the ability to pour out the doggo lifetime of joy, love, and lessons he filled my family with.

Until then, enjoy a normally stoic pug losing his shot because one of the humans in his pack came home. And this is how he greeted me until he physically couldn’t do it. Every. Time.
