“Disgust”

I don’t usually do this kind of self-insert vent-art. Usually I just draw dogs when I’m stressed out (in fact I’ll probably start posting some of those). 

I’m still processing all the emotions, but come monday I’m going to have to start job-hunting again. That’s the way things are. I suggested to my psychiatrist and my brother that I might as well just get on disability and draw furry porn commissions for the internet and their reactions were mixed at best. Ah well.

“On the Street”

This was a study I did based on a post from a street fashion blog. I wish I knew which one....

“Grickle Turnabout”

A cartoony Phoenix Wright. I was mostly drawing from the style Graham Annable uses for Grickle (seriously go check that out on youtube or play puzzle agent right now), but I think there’s a little Futurama as well. No man is an island, indeed.

“Two bros”

Couple of minimalist fantasy monsters that I doodled. If you don’t assume they’re not to scale with each other that’s either the mini minotaur or a f***off gigantic goblin!

“Um”

So this one.... I drew the one on the left just as a weird doodle, and I thought to myself “what if I made it more detailed and realistic, what would that be like? And the answer is.... that. Weirded my siblings out well enough. Would this be a good time to mention that Iguanamouth is one of my heroes?

“The Horned Man”

I loved MGS V. I know it was incomplete and flawed and kind of overly horrific for no reason, but it was fun as hell.

“Aardvark?”

Went through my doodle files a couple weeks ago to find stuff to show my sister. Gonna queue up some of those sketches just to keep the blog going.

“Just a Uniform”

“Decided to get a bit medieval on us, did you?” Blaze sneered from his place on the ceiling.

“Un-f***ing-believable,” Logan spat, “you really are a supervillian in your own mind, aren’t you?”

Agent Bethany shrugged. “It’s just a uniform,” she said, pulling her coat aside to better display her breastplate. “When you put on a uniform, people assume you’re part of the team.”

“But of course you have your own ‘team’.” Logan said.

This is one of the main villains of “Red Right Hand,” the Beast: The Primordial game I’ve been running for the last few years, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Auriel Bethany. She’s a powerful monster hunting psychic, unaware of the fact that the strange dreams she’s been having her whole life indicate her true nature as one of the very same creatures she hunts. 

Really proud of this drawing! I love drawing clothing folds, had a lot of fun with the shattered mirror/creeping frost breastplate, and I actually don’t hate the colors (okay *color*). Plus this is the first time my mom has complimented my artwork in years :,)

“The Bad Guy”

Wander Over Yonder fanart! I loved this show so much. This is nowhere close to the first time I’ve drawn stuff for this fandom (I have such massive piles of Emily Ripov doodles it’s not even funny). Mostly I made this to see whether I could get away with coloring but not inking. I think it looks alright, though I tried some things with white lines that I’m not sure came out well. Live and learn!

“Christmas Crush”

I drew this LWA fanart as a Christmas present to my older brother! I tried inking with the vector tool, since my hands shake and I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I learned a lot from this.

My brother and I feel a bit cliche for liking this ship, since so many of our other ships are so similar, but that won’t stop us!

“Hitchcock”

Originally this was just one pokemon throughout its evolution that I drew just for the hell of it, but I decided to spruce it up to post it. Did some experimentation with overlay layers and background textures. Still needs work, but I’m pretty proud of it anyway.
