i debated not posting this one for a long time cause we all know i gotta work on my need to reply to these people (pssst Sap you’re valid, you don’t have to prove that to assholes). 

but honestly its just so fucking funny.

like i’m trans. that’s not a choice bud. what was a choice was what label out of the many many labels out there felt right to me. and the one that did, was genderqueer. I didn’t choose it over being a woman - I’m not a woman. i chose it instead of other similar labels that could also have applied to who I am.

Gender roles are fake. How people feel is real and yeah it may be informed by the society in which we live but it doesn’t change that we feel it. and i do fight gender roles. in fact, i have a video coming out tomorrow with a poem i wrote all about how damaging and confining gender roles can be for girls. i don’t ID as genderqueer to escape gender roles, i was already doing that when i thought i was GNC girl. I ID as genderqueer because it is who i am.

But I digress because that is not the funniest part of this ask. the funniest part is that at the end there you try to list some examples of privilege that i have in order to prove that i don’t care about anyone i guess? 

1). “you’re white” = i have white privilege. you’re 100% correct i do, and i do my best to uplift the voices of POC and to educate myself but if i mess up at any point by all means tell me! 

2). “you’re a mlw” = i have man loving woman privilege ?? even if i wasn’t genderqueer, i’m AFAB so… i’d be a wlw surely?? and like bi men exist and don’t have straight privilege?? 

and best of all

3). “you have blue hair” = ???? do i have blue hair privilege?? is that what that means?? 

or… is having blue hair an indication that i am selfish?? can you tell that i care about no one from just my hair?? 

is it cause it looks kinda frosty like my cold dead heart?

getting hungry while writing and three hours later being mad that the hunger hasn’t spontaneously resolved itself 

wanting to write. sitting down to write, notebook open, pen in hand. still can’t write
