As amusing as the Max-George drama is, and it is amusing to watch 2 rich white men bully each other over who is more fake, it highlights why the current grid will never achieve their demands to the FIA. The privilege is on full display. This full blown melt down stems from a 1-place grid penalty. A penalty that was ultimately inconsequential to the results of the race. They are in-fighting about who said what, in what tone, and for what reason, while ignoring that the FIA's dogshit reasoning for the penalty was the actual villain. Drivers will take every opportunity to complain and rat each other out, that's what they do. It only becomes a problem when the FIA inconsistently rules in one's favor or the other and doesn't penalize bad behavior. While those two are throwing boulders in their single-pane glass houses, MBS is taking the opportunity to increase his power at the FIA and avoid accountability.
