I think I get too caught up with flanderising certain characters when I feel too comfortable doing so.

Although calling contrarian a dipshit who’s trying to be annoying for no reason is funny and I intend for him across as that slightly, I think I should try to remember the purpose of the character. The Swap!Au is meant to be a personality swap and my characterisation of Creativity shows his intention is not in bad faith but naïveté.

I think Contrarian’s purpose for taking an alternate perspective, similar to Critic, is to improve the whole, however, he engages with it more than the perspective he is critiquing, making him prone to ignoring the point of it entirely.

I like how crittegvity is a homoerotic bestie ship while Maetrarity is basically an alcoholic, his enabler and some dipshit who likes having a different opinion from everyone just cuz

Integrity sometimes does back massages and Creativity sometimes encourages critic to try going to one and he tags along in case he wants to discuss anything with Integrity(I’d like to think they’d discuss a lot about ego and the way he runs things) but as soon as integrity gets his hands on him, critic can feel the 90 angle rest position he calls a back get absolutely get demolished (he only straightens his back around ego, he’s constantly hunched over when editing). He rarely swears but he does during them (poor mc stabbypants…)

He starts booking regular sessions and he’s gotten a lot better during the videos, probably booked a chiropractor after the disappearance of integrity.

Critic does love creativity, more in the way he is concerned for him and really likes it when he pushes himself to be better and take things seriously.

He’s happy when he see creativity deep into his craft, gathering materials, using it well and executing his vision perfectly. I think he wants creativity to know that when he complements him and praises him for the things he’s done exceptionally well, he’s being genuine. He loves when creativity makes a break through and innovates, he gets concerned when Creativity is stuck or even gives up on a project.

I like to think that if creativity had a really good streak, he’ll phrase his critiques less harshly and they come across more as pointers. But like he’s still a huge Tsundere about it since he’s scared that creativity might get too cocky and forget about his harsher critiques.

Maestro in very unfortunately very prone to alcoholism and is constantly chasing sensation to find inspiration in his chambers. Purity is very torn on helping him, often holding philosophical debates in the swap version of the house of integrity(I guess that would be house of artistic purity) kind of being paranoid that the knights will be displeased with the blade of the house letting the head get wasted on the daily.

Not my domain again but but.. in the swap au I think Swap!Chains would be a lot like Gregor from limbus. (He’s kind of a swap with Sir Adblock I’d assume since the factions are swapped) guiding Conspiracy and fighting his old compatriots from the Swap!Koai.

I know it’s not my field but I think conspiracy guy and cult leader have abnormally big pockersand Chainsaw replaces his chainsaw with an extender arm to grab stuff out of it when conspiracy guy asks him to and since chainsaw has a little hand crank to pull it out manually since chains doesn’t really have any power in his chainsaw.

Guys what if the reason why it doesn’t work is bc he trained himself to get used to blackouts but doesn’t actually know how to turn it back on,

Yes... Very fortunately, Crit has a couple of used bodies to offer crea, in exchange, he gives the grub some mushy foods. Crit gets annoyed when crea tries some of his mush tho

okay well would crea like pickles then? they have more flavor than cucumbers and a different texture. would he know its the same food...

On a surface level, no. he would look the at the ‘fake big worm’ with hatred as the cucumber and just think it’s a fat cucumber, although he’d be convinced to try it quite easily since he’s still a very curious lad… his brain has his vision of proteins and vegetables quite spaced apart since he’s quite used to leafy vegetables so his natural aversions need to be unlearned since at his core, he is unafraid to engage in new sensations :D

your bird!crea posts make me think of more bird!crea quirks. im imagining crea screaming like a baby bird at critic/anyone when he's feeling too lazy or sick. not just for food but for anything and everything. probably not accurate to your interp of crea though….. sorries…

Hmmm I think he does something like that…. Instead of screaming it’s just whistling, he’s gotten it quite good at it. he also does perch on Crit a lot and peck at him… tho the pecking looks like kissies from the outside hehe but critic reacts as if he is actually pecking him and he squirms like a worm….
