Not to rant but: People come at bts when their faves (both western and not) have maybe <50 songs that are mostly produced by an army of songwriters in a room, and have little say in what they sing or how they do it. Meanwhile bts writes and produces their own songs, self directs their own albums and music videos. Namjoon alone has over 200 writing credits (while bts has around 260+ songs) and when they do work with producers- it’s litterally the same ones they’ve worked with since their debut.

Bts have never sold out or compromised their own creativity and agency for the sake of popularity. the truth is- bts are more genuine artists and than 90% of the industry and If I hear someone else say they’re manufactured again I will litterally shit a brick and hurl it at their heads.
