It's crazy how long this took me but I blame it on the art block and stress of finals these past few weeks (and also because this was an incredible difficulty angle to draw).

I'm quite happy with this one, and I think I will make more drawings of Thais since she is my favourite but I also really want to draw the keeper and Ramona Yuri so that will be coming up next.

I got a ukulele a painted it :D I will try to learn but my hopes aren't too high since this is my first ever instrument.

I've been a lil sick lately but I'm getting better now a will hopefully start drawing and posting more soon:)

I really wanted to draw Harley getting a Harley (motorcycle) for his birthday but was already too into making this one.

Tho our start may have been rocky, I have come around to love this green menace very much and I now hope to see and learn more about him as time goes on<3

To anyone that likes the Freak Circus and the Magnus Archives, what fear do you think each member of the circus would be the avatar of?

In my personal opinion I'm thinking this:

Pierrot- either the hunt or the hive (corruption) because he stalks and is (romantically) hunting us. But I am more tempted to associate him with the hive because of how his love is consuming and corrupting him and because the hive is also associated with love (that one episode with the corruption taking over a cult trough a sick dog).

Harlequin- honestly I'm tempted to say the hunt again (tho I feel like this fear applies to all of the monsters °~°) but I think the lonely fits harlequin beautifully. Hear me out okay, harlequin is afraid of making deep connections with people and often emotionally isolates himself from others because (I like to say that he's emotionally constipated). It has also been said before that if anything we're to ever happen where he saw himself as more of a burden to the circus and maybe even a danger, that he would take it upon himself and leave. And he is unbearably lonely because of his fear of loosing someone that he loves again that he just makes it worse for himself and unintentionally (or intentionally sometimes) will isolate himself from everyone. (He is such a complex character, and I love him for that)

Jester- oh god, I want to say that both the eye and the web fit him really well because of his love and incredible ability for learning, and because of his love for control/ the want to influence everything around him even if it's just for the sake of keeping his family safe. Maybe even the vast would fit him with the way he makes others around him feel insignificant and beneath him. Jester is a character so complex and mysterious that it's difficult for me to have one solid idea for what he could be.

Ticket taker- either the stranger because of him being able to take the uncanny appearance of an ordinary human man. Or the spiral because if his hall of mirrors and ability to manipulate your senses there, making you feel like there is someone hugging you when there isn't (Pierrot's and Harlequin's mirror). I think the web would also fit him incredibly well because he is a control freak like jester (maybe even more than him) but other than that I don't know.

Doctor- I want to say the flesh and a bit of the hunt because of his fascination with the body and his love for adrenaline (also because he is basically the butcher of the circus). I can totally see him stitching body parts together for the sake of an experiment and doing invasive surgeries on his patients (unless it is his family).

Anyway, these were my thoughts on our beloved freaks as avatars in case one of the world's the fears went to was theirs and they became avatar's for the sake of not dying to the fears:D

A headcanon I have for Pierrot is that he knows how to say "I love you" in every language that he has learned while the circus traveled. So that he could one day tell his beloved that he loves them in all the languages that he knows while showering them in kisses.

By the way, some of you may have seen the earlier post where the symbol on Pierrot’s left arm had the wrong color. That was completely my fault, sorry about that hehe. I was so excited that I let that slip by!

I don't know why but I could not get the thought of Pierrot being a father and treating our baby with so much love and gentleness that it's almost overwhelming. "I would round out all of my edges for you and surpass my very nature in order to be your home"

And of course I had to add Harlequin as a father. I think he would be present in the child's life but not like a father, more like a fun uncle that reluctantly takes care of you when mom can't.

I think I want to draw Pierrot with an axe as a lumberjack next, I think he would look amazing 🤤

I see Pierrot as being one of those massive fluffy dogs that loooovveee to cuddle and harlequin as those sheep cats with really fluffy fur (I also think he would be the most mischievous cat known to man).
