Ren’s eyes widen, not expecting such words from the girl. The stage play was what their class planned together and Ayumu did a great job although she only work at the background. She never went late for anything, practices, rehearsals, the dry rehearsal. Today was full of the unexpected, starting from her jealous girlfriend. Ren’s heart fluttered, knowing full well what Ayumu was feeling.

After a full moment of silence, Ayumu could say she was calming down. Everything was going back to be okay, and all she could do was take a deep breath and whisper «I’m sorry Ren...», in the weakest voice. She really was, and even though probably Ren wasn’t even offended she wanted her to know how she was feeling. «It’s not you who I don’t trust... I just don’t have any confidence...»

“That definitely won’t be happening..” A soft knock distracted Ren’s attention and she tilted her gaze to the door, listening to her friend’s voice who’s warning them the show was about to start. But the grip around Ayumu’s tightened, preventing the other girl from moving any further. “Do you mind we miss the show a bit? I want to hug you a little longer.”

As she heard the other girl’s voice, she just hid her head better on Ren’s shirt, not to show her frown. That friend of Ren’s... she sure was a good girl, but Ayumu really couldn’t stand her voice in that moment. «N-No... I rather stay here with you as well.» she agreed, nodding a little as she moved her head a little, now leaning her ear on her girlfriend’s heart. That always calmed her.
