Saturday, September 16th, 2017. Hi everyone 🌸 University has only started for a week, and I already have so much work to do ! Especially in Japanese. I'm also busy with rewriting my notes from last year (which I obviously should have done during the holidays but oh, well) and it's taking me most of my days. I wanted to show you these lovely notebooks that I bought recently, they're from the brand © Legami Milano, and I absolutely love them ! The covers are gorgeous, aren't they ? I bought two of each because I instantly fell in love with them. They have a bunch of other designs but I didn't like them as much. You can still check them out on their website (it's in Italian though). The inside is ruled. Which design is your favorite ? I think mine is the "Be smart" one. Wednesday, September 6th, 2017.

Hello, everyone ! 📏 I’ve finally settled in my new student room ! I was a bit disappointed about not being able to get the same one as last year, but I’m over it. This one’s actually a little bit roomier, although not as pretty.

So, this will be my workspace for the year, hopefully it’ll motivate me to be more productive than last year ! My classes start on Monday, I’m a bit apprehensive because the second year of university is supposed to be a lot harder. Anyway, let’s cheer up !

P.-S. : I’m using a calendar by @emmastudies for the first time ever ! It’s really useful and looks great with my desk theme. You can print it on her blog.

Bonjour,

I’ve decided to create this studygram for the upcoming school year, because I’ve been alarmingly slacking off since the end of senior year.

I’ve always had good grades even though I only studied the night before, because I was convinced that I “worked better under pressure”. This led me to the present situation in which I don’t have the will to work anymore.

My first year of university was a complete downfall, because I suddenly found myself with too much free time on my hands since the teachers hardly gave any assignments compared to my high school years, and there was “no need to study” since the different courses weren’t regularly assessed. Therefore I ended up watching videos on YouTube instead of studying on my own as I should have done.

Thus, the birth of this account. I strongly believe that taking the time to make my notes look pretty will at once help me learn them, and make me want to actually open them. This will be my own little “renaissance”.

Lastly, I would like to address a big thanks to all of the studygrams/studyblrs that have inspired me, especially @studyquill and @emmastudies.

P.-S. : This account will only be active once I get back to my student room at the end of August, because I want to organise my workspace before taking photos.
