Homecoming
A simple beep was heared over her com. “I am coming home....and they are coming with me.” Others around her seemed confused and shrugged it off but not the little mouse. Oh no not Kono. She jumped up, fighting her way through the orphanage. Her relief was there any way. It felt like at every turn she was fighting off an evil bunny, or a stuffed doll of doom, or such nonsense. As she hopped across beds and rafters, she finally made it to the door and turned to laugh. As she did a paint ball hit her in the forehead. She sighed. What would they say in vipers cove to this news. And where was Twitch?
None of her business...
An irritation of second guessing herself sank into the thoughts of the old woman as she’d walk towards her house in Silvermoon. She’d let her nails dig into her raven tresses, scraping to her scalp. A sigh escaped her lips. “Why does one even bother. Mercutio isn’t around… his business isn’t mine. Even being invited to such a business…” Diaage mumbled to herself as she’d open the door to find Elsif and Nihasa sitting in the common room.
“A bad day?” Elsif noticed a permanent frown lining the woman’s face. “More dead ends. One doesn’t know what to do anymore. Living here or living in the port - it doesn’t seem quite safe just yet.” The ex-director would slump into one a living room chair. “Elsif… Why should one resurface? To what end? Why should one deal with Mercutio or my brother? Or any of the family. What goals would that accomplish.”
“Well, Miss Malievi… It might not be my business, but… family is family. Considering everything… recovering from years past of estranging yourself your business and noble family…” Elsif spoke quietly as he’d glance from her to Nihasa. “Maybe not just for yourself? But for your daughter?”
“For titan’s sakes… bringing Nihasa around that lot. Infighting, deaders, screaming, blood… just a typical night of Intoxication…. Hope to the seven hells that that Malache boy is alive…” The old woman groaned as she’d push herself up out of the chair. The conversation trailed from there as she’d stare out the window into the city of Silvermoon. To what end…

That Malache boy wished he wasn’t, Diaage.
He didn’t know when they left, or how long he’d locked himself in there with what little strength he had. He didn’t want the Troll or anyone else in there. The darkness was no welcome friend, but it was more welcome than any other for as long as it would last.

How long he stood grim vigil at Flaxin’s tent, he would never know. It was long enough for a few of the men – Twitch’s men, probably (not yours never yours) – to start to fret. At first they tried to coax him to leave, or at least take some water, but when he neither moved nor spoke no matter how much they entreated him, they gave up, albeit reluctantly.
He might find that heartening if he were in a different place and time.
How long he stood, he would never know, but finally the tent did open again, disgorging the twisted abominations that had dragged Flaxin away. One of them even brushed against him, perhaps to see if he would react. He didn’t. Or at least…
He didn’t seem to.
But the monster’s sleeve suddenly smoked as though threatening to catch fire, and it did draw away from him perhaps more quickly than was its usual wont. And still he neither moved nor looked around, not until the monstrosities had gathered their riding beasts and gone back where they belonged. Only then did he shift, ready to go to Flaxin’s aid…
Only for the tent to close right back up again, sealed by those infernal enchantments.
A pause. A blank stare.
He left.
One of Twitch’s men (not yours never yours) was posted outside the tent with strict orders to fetch him if Flaxin emerged, or to fetch him and the dragon if half a day passed without movement from within. Then he…
Did what he always did.
He did what was expected of him.
The little elf sat down with a huff. She had tried to figure out everyway she could think of, but nothimg worked. "Banana" "cheese" ...... She kept saying items places things and names hoping something would work. She grewagravatedand tossed a rock at it even, which bounced back and smacked her in head. She muttered a curse. "Fucking magic.....thing" She was bound to get in just how.

I am looking for more mermaids/guards! So if you also have an alt problem like me, hmu.
Also looking for pirates/traders/anything that involves sailing to make deals with her (or not, if you wanna rp a bloodbath and have your ship wrecked or almost wrecked…). Nim likes to travel to the major cities for diplomatic missions or we can arrange for them to come to her palace under the sea. She keeps some courier mermaids stationed in each city just in case someone wants to get a hold of her, have to know where to find them, though!
I don’t really know of any pirate/trader/shipping company type people so boosts would be appreciated! Any in game rp will have to be on ALLIANCE, but also down for Tumblr/discord.
Just message @helalthehallowed / @deepest-ocean or me! We are already sorting through a few people making mermaids to work with us and more are welcome! Rival mermaids from other oceans also welcome ;)

edit: You do NOT have to make a new person to have a mermaid! Myself and a few others have decided that Nim can make mermaids with whatever type of fish tail we decide on. The exceptions on the races she will NOT make into mermaids are: forsaken, pandaren, worgen, orc, troll, and tauren. Yes, gnome mermaids are gonna be a thing.
There’s two ways I have come up with so far that would cause your oc to become a mermaid. A) your oc is a mermaid fanatic and manages to get an audience with Nim, and if they are useful she will work her magic. or B) your oc was taken prisoner by her hunter mermaids and given the option of joining them or death.
And there’s always the option of being born a mermaid (which resemble nelves).

Crescent’s first Film showing went very well! As it was a test crowd, it remained small and intimate with entertaining commentary and a relaxed atmosphere. We thank you for your help in deciding if this will be a reoccurring event. We officially look forward to more movie nights in the future!
