Hope Giselle: Reflective realities

When I was 23 I found myself living the life I told myself and the universe that I wanted. I had my own and I paid my own way. I was for lack of a better word an “independent woman”, but as most folks do I found myself wanting, needing and seeking companionship. I looked in all the wrong places and had this moment on one of my late night with Hope Facebook live shows. Although this is no longer my reality I remember many times after this video where this girls truth would reappear in my life.
As a trans women we often spend a majority of our time trying to prove how similar we can be. How much we can blend, but when it comes to love it seems like no matter how much you “blend” social order reminder you of just how different and complicated loving you can prove to be. However, it gets better. We all deserve love and eventually it finds us. #transisbeautiful
