PG-13, 1.5 k, soulmate!klaine
When they were born, and still lying in their cradles, their destiny was already decided.
When they were four, they met briefly on a playground. Kurt noticed the kid with the black curls digging with his tiny hands into the sand, and Blaine saw the kid on the swing getting pushed by his mom. They donât remember it now.
Together
PG, 480 words, x
When Blaine unwraps his anniversary present, his eyes immediately widen, and he quickly double checks to see if he really unwrapped the right box.
âItâs? Is it⊠Marc Jacobs. Eau de Blanche?â he reads the label on the tiny bottle in disbelief.
âYou donât like it?â Kurt asks, a pang of disappointment in his voice. After all, he spend a good hour in the shop trying to figure which fragrance would suit Blaine the best, and between that and constantly sniffing at coffee beans, his sense of smell may have been permanently damaged. It would be a pity if Blaine didnât like it.
âOpen your present, Kurt,â Blaine says, visibly trying to stay as calm as possible.
As soon as Kurt unties the ribbon and gets rid of the wrapping paper, he sees a too-familiar box, only in a different color.
âI bought you the matching one,â Blaine lets out a sharp laugh of amazement, âEau de Noir.â
âWhat? You knew I was gonna-â Kurt opens the box to make sure itâs really the one.
âI swear I didnât! Itâs purely coincidental!â Blaine cuts him off, putting a hand on his chest for further emphasis.
âI didnât know you were going to buy it too,â Kurt says, stares at the matching bottle of perfume in a state of immense shock.
In total silence, Blaine stares too. Kurt doesnât say what he wants to say, and tries hard to ignore all those ridiculous words spinning inside of his head (destiny, soulmate, fateâŠ). Instead, with measured movements he calmly applies some of his perfume on his wrist, and smells it.
The essence is strong, but somehow fresh and sweet, despite being undoubtedly masculine. Blaineâs is a tad bit different. Itâs more floral in a way, but as Kurt remembers it, a perfectly pour homme scent as well.
He gets so caught up in this smell, that he doesnât realize at once that Blaine has sprayed a little bit of his own perfume too.
As the two scents mix in the air, something makes Kurtâs heart beat faster, something makes his palms sweat and his cheeks blush. Itâs indescribable, unexplainable, and immensely powerful.
He turns to look at Blaineâs face, at his gorgeous honey-hazel eyes and those delicious parted lips, and taking half a breath of air, surges forward, grabbing the side of his neck and kissing him deeply, desperately, unleashing that torrent of feelings that seem to have gripped at his heart, at his soul and mind.
Only later, much later, with their clothes shed and their pulses trying to come down off that high, Kurt breathes in those two tangled scents mixed with the strong smell that is only theirs, belongs only to their love, lets himself believe.
âThey smell perfect together,â he whispers against the warm skin of Blaineâs neck.
ââCause we do too,â Blaine murmurs back happily, but already half-asleep.
Ride
PG, 600 words, kurt and blaine are two strangers riding the rollercoaster.
At first Kurt thought it would be weird â to ride the rollercoaster alone. After all, amusement parks are something that can thoroughly be enjoyed only by sharing the fun with friends. He wanted to hold onto Rachelâs hand and scream at the top of his lungs with her â but Rachel was currently swept away by her own competitiveness with a 5-year old child in a cruel and stressful fight over trying to catch a goldfish, so Kurt got irritated and after forty minutes of waiting decided that he had earned that rollercoaster ride.
He was already set on going alone, but after the worker checked on his security belt, a young boy his own age came from the other side and occupied the vacant seat near him. He definitely didnât come as a third one out.
âSo, are you alone too?â Kurt asks, immediately feeling dumb. Normally, he would never strike a conversation with a complete stranger, itâs just nervous pre-near-death-experience jitters that make him want to talk.
âWhat? No, uhm, my friend Sam is actually trying to win that big teddy bear for his fiancĂ©e, so Iâm just-â
âCouldnât take it anymore,â they conclude in unison, and then stare at each other with incredulity.
âMy friend Rachel is probably still trying to catch a goldfish, so, I know how you feel,â Kurt jokes.
Blaine smiles, but doesnât say anything. Thereâs an uncomfortable silence, and suddenly the rollercoaster jolts forward. The panic level starts rising inside of Kurt again.
âOh god, Iâve never been on a rollercoaster before,â he blurts out, already not caring that he probably sounds breathless and scared to someone he just met, who just happens to be a cute boy.
âDonât be afraid,â Blaine says, and he does sound earnestly supportive, âItâs completely safe.â
The rollercoaster starts to move slowly, gaining speed as it goes up the initial slope.
âOh my god, oh my god,â Kurt mutters under his breath. Suddenly the whole brilliant idea of proving his bravery seems to be overrated. He fidgets in his seat, trying not to look down, and grips tight at the handle.
âIâm too young to die, Iâm too young,â he continues babbling. He shouldâve stayed near Rachel, shouldâve-
âWanna hold onto me?â Blaine says suddenly offering his hand to Kurt, and heâs probably blushing, but Kurt doesnât notice as he grabs Blaineâs hand so tight his knuckles turn white.
Afterwards, everything is a blur in Kurtâs brain, between screams and Blaineâs hand, and the rollercoaster moving faster than light, up and down and in a circle. Itâs scary but quick and suddenly Kurt finds himself breathing heavily as the rollercoaster stops at the beginning of the track.
âWell, that was fun,â Blaine laughs, still holding onto Kurtâs hand.
âOh god, Iâm so embarrassed,â Kurt turns to Blaine, unfastening his belt, âI screamed so hard I may have damaged your ears, Iâm sorry-â
âHey, no! I thought you were totally cute,â Blaine says, and as he realizes what he has said, his eyes widen and now heâs definitely blushing.
âYou did?â and oh, Kurtâs stomach flips and it has nothing to do with rollercoasters.
âYeah,â Blaine says simply, and helps Kurt out of the rollercoaster. Suddenly, everything feels too awkward: theyâre two strangers holding hands out of the rollercoaster, so Blaine tentatively lets go of Kurtâs hand.
But somehow they both donât want to say good bye just yet.
âHow about we go find our friends and then make them ride the rollercoaster together and watch them suffer?â Kurt offers and immediately makes Blaine laugh
âSounds like a plan,â Blaine smiles.
PG, 485 words, blaine touches kurt's butt in public for the first time
âWhy do you even insist on coming to these fancy places, Blaine?â Kurt snorts, when Blaine makes the third failed attempt to crawl onto the bar stool.
âTheyâre just.. slippery, thatâs-â Blaine mumbles, face already red from embarrassment, or from the excitement of the unexpected night out and too-much dancing.
âTheyâll always be too high for you, darling, especially if you drink so much,â Kurt teases, fluttering his eyelashes in that particular seducing way that heâs well aware makes Blaine lose his mind.
âOh, please, I just had a rum and coke,â Blaine scoffs, and abandons his futile attempts to sit behind that awfully tall stool. Kurtâs sitting down, but it seems that heâs even taller than Blaine, or at least his hair gives off that illusion.
He takes Blaineâs hand and pulls him closer, until heâs standing between Kurtâs legs.
âCome here, my little hobbit,â Kurt whispers into his ear, all warm breath and minty-fresh smell, sparkling eyes. Just the tone of that voice sends a shiver down Blaineâs spine.
âIâm not that small,â Blaine protests weakly, face still bright-red, and anger melting under Kurtâs gaze.
âTiny,â Kurt continues to tease, kissing softly at Blaineâs cheek, making Blaineâs lips part involuntarily, âSo tiny I could just put you in my pocket.â
âYeah?â Blaine breathes out, regaining control on his nerves. Kurtâs been teasing him about his height for god knows how long, and even though itâs the best kind of flirting, Blaine needs Kurt to taste his sweet revenge, and now.
"Which pocket?â Blaine smirks, and his hand travels down Kurtâs back, until it breaks their unspoken rule of no-hands-south-of-the-equator in public places, and lowers it right in the back pocket of Kurtâs pants.
âThis one?â he asks again, and grabs a handful of Kurtâs butt through the pants, as if claiming it as his own.
âOh!â Kurt lets out a shocked squeak, in one second losing his image of an experienced seducer. Then he whispers loudly, looking around with more secret excitement than indignation, âBlaine, people can see!â
âLet them watch,â Blaine says licking his lips, with his hand still firmly squeezing at Kurtâs ass.
âOh god,â Kurtâs pupils turn dark and he steals a glance at Blaineâs lips too, clears his throat, âOh my god, I think we should go home, you know, itâs late and-â
âYouâll go home with such a tiny little hobbit?â Blaine says, smirking, and coming even closer to stand between Kurtâs legs, his other hand possessively grabbing at Kurtâs thigh.
âYes, yes, right now, please,â Kurt blurts out, getting flustered at how desperate heâs becoming. Turns out, it doesnât matter, because Blaine is already dragging him to where they left their coats.
Before helping Kurt wear his coat in the half-lit darkness of the club, Blaine steals a squeeze at Kurtâs butt once again, and absolutely loves the way Kurt canât help but moan right into his ear.
Glue
PG, 615 words, kid!klaine on valentine's day
It was Valentineâs Day, and even though Kurt was in second grade, he took this holiday very seriously. His mom always told him that this holiday was about sharing his love. So he made cards for most of the girls. Not Tanisha though, because she didnât want to share her shiny bracelet with him. But he made personalized cards for Mercedes and for Rachel too. They seemed very happy to receive his cards, but somehow they didnât have anything prepared for him.
He made one for Blaine from the parallel class as well. He used his favorite golden glitter on that one, so Blaine could understand just how much Kurt liked his bow tie.
When Kurt came back to his homeroom after lunch, he found a card waiting for him. His heart beat faster, because he never ever thought heâd receive a Valentineâs Day card too, not from someone who wasnât his mom at least. But it was there, clearly addressed to him!
He took it in his hands, and opened it, and immediately found a pressed yellow flower inside, attached to the piece of paper with lots and lots of glue. There was a note âTo my special friend from Blaineâ in neat handwriting written under it. And even though it was a dead flower, and some of its petals already fell down, Kurt smiled and reached to touch it.
But as soon as Kurt touched it, his fingers got glued to the card too.
He pulled, but they still remained stuck.
His eyes widened, as he realized that it must be a terrible prank that Blaine pulled on him. All the boys made fun of him, so why did he ever think that Blaine was different? A lump quickly formed in his throat and his eyes were beginning to sting.
The bell to the lesson rang, and Mrs Tuck came into the room. Thankfully, the other kids were busy playing games or getting their books out to pay any attention to Kurt. But as soon as Mrs Tuck saw Kurt staring at a piece of paper in his palm, she rushed to him and asked who did this. With the smallest of voices Kurt told her.
In mere minutes Blaine Anderson was dragged into the classroom by Mrs Tuck, and she ordered him to apologize immediately.
Blaineâs eyes were filled with sadness, as he shifted from one foot to another in front of Kurtâs desk.
âYou didnât like my card?â he asked, âIâm so sorry itâs bad, I just wanted to give you a pretty flower.â
âWhat?â
âYou know, because Valentineâs Day is all about love. And youâre my friend,â Blaine explained slowly, and sighed.
âThis isnât a prank?â
âWhat?â now it was Blaineâs turn to be confused. He looked over at Kurt and suddenly realized that his fingers were glued to the card.
âOh, Iâm sorry! I knew I was using too much super glue, but I just wanted to make sure it didnât fall off,â Blaine quickly reached for the card too, in attempt to help Kurt get his hand free from it, âIâm gonnaâŠâ
But instead, his fingers got stuck inside of it too. And even though he pulled, nothing happened.
At that, Kurt suddenly laughed, all of his worries fading away.
Mrs Tuck told them to go to the bathroom to wash it away, and Kurt was giggling the whole time while they walked down the corridors of the school with their hands stuck on a Valentineâs Day card. They looked very silly. And even though the card got completely ruined under the stream of warm water, Blaine smiled too, and sang Kurt a song called Iâm Sticking With You and made Kurt feel all funny inside of his belly.
Pick Up the Pieces
PG, 700 words, blaine comforts kurt after a break up
âCan you come over?â
Kurtâs voice is sad and distant, and it finally wakes Blaine up. He checks the display again to see if itâs really Kurt calling. Kurt has never called him after 10 PM.
âWhat? Kurt, are you okay?â Blaine holds his phone closer, listens more intently.
âYeah,â Kurt hums. Blaine knows that âYeahâ. He can read Kurt like no other, after all, theyâve been best friends for years. And this âYeahâ is the most terrible, the most heartbreaking. Because itâs a clear No.
Cards
PG, 300 words, christmas cards
Blaine found Kurt sitting on their bed a week before Christmas and looking through a pile of postcards, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. He was so engrossed in the task at hand, that he didnât even notice Blaine coming closer and sitting right next to him.
âWhat are you doing, honey?â
âOh, itâs, uhm,â Kurt blushed, attempting to hide the postcards from Blaineâs view, âItâs nothing.â
âHey, itâs not nothing, let me see,â Blaine asked gently, and Kurt sighed, handing him the pile of postcards.
Blaine immediately saw Julie and Santana smiling at him from the postcard theyâve sent last year, from a beach in Malibu. And then there was one from Mercedes and Trey. One from Liram and Heroy. Another one from Puckerman and Lauren, who were wising a âMerry Flippinâ Christmasâ. And even one from Sue Sylvester where she was photoshopped to appear as if she was standing back-to-back to herself.
âI see where are you getting with these,â Blaine smiled softly.
âYou really donât think itâs kind of⊠juvenile?â
âNot at all, I think itâs very sweet.â
âWell, I know itâs really really cheesy but I just want us to do a Christmas card and send it to all of our friends,â Kurt said all in one breath, his eyes already shining with excitement.
âI canât believe we havenât done it yet!â Blaine replied, slowly catching up on all of the excitement. There were tons of different possibilities! They could do a really stylish one, black-and-white and holding champagne glasses. Or they could do one in Santa hats, with him kissing Kurtâs cheek. Or they could do it with millions of candles!
Kurt was looking at him, and nodding furiously and only then Blaine realised that he was saying all of this out loud.
âHow about we do all of them and send them to everyone!â Kurt exclaimed, clapping his hands.
âBest. Christmas. Ever,â Blaine breathed out, while Kurt was already writing down their ideas in a special notebook.
Monsters
PG, 390 words, kurt is scared to go to the bathroom after a scary movie
Blaine is trying very hard not to laugh. Itâs a seriously difficult task, not since Kurt is gripping so hard at him, his arm might fall off any second now. Kurt refuses to let go even when Blaine switches the light on in the bathroom.
âWell, there are no monsters here,â Blaine says, but Kurt still looks uneasy. He inspects their tiny bathroom, and even tentatively peeks behind the shower curtain. All through this silent visual ritual, Blaine has trouble containing his giggling.
âOkay, now, turn around while I pee,â Kurt commands, but then grips at Blaineâs arm again, âBut stay close.â
âKurt, weâve been married for two years, I really donât think-â
âI donât care, itâs still gross. If it werenât for such circumstancesâŠâ Kurt murmurs, and Blaine smirks. Obviously, he meant If I wasnât so scared of that horror movie you forced me to watch, but Kurt still remained his beloved overly-proud Kurt to admit something so disparaging.
Blaine obliges, even though itâs completely ridiculous. He doesnât even look in the mirror, and closes his eyes to keep Kurt at maximum privacy-levels under such circumstances.
Itâs not until he hears the toilet flush, that Blaine finally opens his eyes.
Kurt washes his hands, too-quickly for Kurtesque standards.
âIâm done,â he says, wiping them on a towel, and immediately gripping onto Blaine again, and looks at him expectantly in a way that cats usually do, as if to say ânow you can lead me backâ.
âCome on, Kurt, stop it,â Blaine rolls his eyes fondly, âThereâs nothing wrong with being scared.â
âIâm not scared,â Kurt lies at once.
âI know you are, and itâs adorable,â Blaine says, biting his lower lip.
âIâm 24 years old and the head of my designing department, Iâm not scared of stupid monsters, okay?â Kurt says all at once, and even goes as far as to release Blaineâs arm from his clutching fingers.
Blaine almost believes him, almost. That is, until suddenly the towel falls off its rack, and Kurt yelps, almost jumping onto Blaine and seizing him into a death-grip. And even though heâs suffocating, Blaine bursts into laughter.
Realizing his mistake, Kurt looks down and blushes in shame, but still keeps holding Blaine close.
âM-maybe Iâm a little bit scared allright,â he says defensively, and Blaine canât help but press a reassuring kiss on his cheek.
Map
PG, 420 words.
Kurt wasnât a needy man. He didnât want much in his life. All he wanted was take his fiancĂ© on a romantic day out by the sea. How hard could it be?
After 2 hours of aimless driving around the whole state of New Jersey, Kurtâs head is about to explode. The map seems to be that of Middle Earth, because he has no idea where theyâre going.
âWe should ask for directions,â Blaine says tentatively, for what seems like a millionth time.
âNo, we donât need directions,â Kurt argues immediately, more out of stubbornness than logic, âWe have this map.â
âKurt,â Blaine rubs at his own temples, âCan you stop the car?â
Without much thought, Kurt pulls over to the side, and has to contain himself from sprawling over the steering wheel right then and there.
âWe need to ask for directions, Kurt, face it, we have no idea how to read this map,â Blaine says in his tone of voice that can only be called âdiplomaticâ.
âNo, we donât need to ask anything!â Kurtâs tone of voice, on the contrary, borders with hysteria, âPlus, look around, thereâs no one here, Blaine!â
Blaine climbs out of the passenger seat, and Kurt follows him too. He needs fresh air, maybe it could clear his head a little.
Thereâs not a single soul around, not a dwelling, just nothing.
And although Kurt is furious and upset, and he shouldnât come near Blaine in such a state, he canât help it. He circles the car until he can stand precisely one meter away from Blaine and look at him with silent judgment. He knows Blaine is innocent, but Kurtâs inner cat is prevailing in him in that moment.
Suddenly, Blaine raises up his head and starts laughing.
It seems the weirdest thing to do under such circumstances, so Kurt even forgets about his irritation for a second and raises his head too.
What he sees is a flock of seagulls.
âWell, I think weâre on the right track,â Blaine continues giggling, and somehow Kurtâs irritation starts to dissipate.
âItâs like you did ask for directions,â he says, coming closer to Blaine.
âYeah, not even my stubborn fiancĂ© could argue with such convincing arguments,â Blaine says, lowering his head on Kurtâs shoulder, and embracing him softly by the middle.
âOh god, weâre turning into one of those couples,â Kurt giggles too, hugging Blaine back.
âI donât see how itâs a bad thing,â Blaine smiles, and Kurt smiles too, listening to the screams of seagulls over their heads.
Car
PG, 600 words, pre-relationship!dalton!klaine after silly love songs.
After the absolute success that was the Warblersâ performance of Silly Love Songs, Kurt decided to hold back a little to help clean the place. Blaine joined him in a heartbeat, and so did Jeff and Nick. David and Wes insisted they stay too, because they were the oldest, and also members of the council, thus responsible to make sure that the other Warblers got home safe after their impromptu off-campus performance.
It occurs to Kurt too late.
Six people. There were six people and a car could only contain as much as five.
âI can call my dad,â Kurt side-steps near Wesâ jeep, eyeing the whole gang, âHe could come get me.â
âDonât be silly,â Blaine replies immediately, âItâs late already, he shouldnât worry.â
âYeah, we can all climb inside,â Jeff says, obviously not realizing what the problem is.
âWe did before, and that time there were several guys that were bigger than you,â Nick shrugs, already opening the door.
âItâs, uhm, illegal?â Kurt fidgets with his bag.
He doesnât want to make everyone uncomfortable, but the truth is, it is super late and he's tired. He really wants to be back in his dorm room. In a moment Kurt notices that David has already climbed in the passenger seat and everyone is looking at him expectantly.
âWes is super careful, and besides itâs just a half-hour drive,â Blaine puts a hand on Kurtâs shoulder, and the gesture alone feels like a super powerful tranquilizer. Not to say anything of Blaineâs charming reassuring smile.
âYeah, come on, Kurt! You can sit on Blaineâs lap,â Jeff shouts, having already climbed inside, making all the other boys hide their grins.
The nervousness is back in a moment, and Kurt canât help but glimpse fearfully at Blaine.
Blaine just rolls his eyes, and then takes Kurtâs hand, guiding him so he can really sit on his lap in the car. Thankfully, the jeep has enough space so Kurt doesnât bump his head, but he still has to sit half on top of Blaine and duck his head in order not to bump his head on the side of the car. This way heâs closer to Blaineâs face than itâs strictly appropriate. Not that he minds.
Wes starts the car, and the radio immediately turns on. Thereâs a song they covered before, so Nick and Jeff start singing at once quickly forgetting about everything else, which makes Kurt relax in Blaineâs arms.
Kurt really shouldnât notice it, but Blaineâs hands are holding onto him tightly, protectively, and being in such close contact is simultaneously the nicest and the worst thing in the whole world. He wants nothing more than to press his lips to Blaineâs cheek, kiss him tenderly and let himself be lulled to sleep in Blaineâs arms. But of course he canât do it. He shouldnât even think about such things. Blaine doesnât view him as anything other than his friend, and Kurt should learn to accept it.
But Blaineâs scent is strong and Kurt canât resist. Making sure that no one is paying attention to them, he lays his head on Blaineâs shoulder and secretly breathes in his smell, which is sweet and strong at the same time.
Blaine doesnât push him away, moreover, he holds Kurt even closer. It's so nice, that Kurt's heart beats a tad bit faster. He wonders if Blaine can feel it.
The warmth of the car and the steady drive quickly make Kurt sleepy, and he dozes off. Before he falls asleep, he remembers only Blaine's hushed whispering âCome on guys, itâs not cool to take pics, heâs sleepingâŠâ, the voices of the Warblers singing something soft in unison, and the coziness of Blaineâs body pressed close to his own.
Bubble
PG-13, 300 words, taking a bath together
âOkay, this is the best idea youâve ever had,â Kurt hums, relaxing against Blaineâs pliant body.
He thought itâd be weird sharing a bath with someone, but turns out itâs pretty amazing. Blaineâs chest seems softer in the water, both of their bodies are floating weightless, and Kurt lays his head gently on Blaineâs shoulder to keep himself grounded.
âAlways this surprised tone,â Blaine laughs, kissing softly at Kurtâs temple.
Kurt smirks a little bit, bringing his hands to play with the bubbles on the surface of the water. He feels Blaineâs arms tenderly but surely embrace his middle, like some kind of life buoy. Blaineâs hair is getting freed because of the water, and Kurt feels it tickle at his neck.
Kurt turns just enough so he can whisper in Blaineâs ear.
âWell, I believed it would be a hopeless endeavor, a waste of water so to say, mainly because we just canât coexist in a limited space while being naked and not try to fuck each other senseless all at once,â his words are hot against the wet skin of Blaineâs face.
Smiling mischievously, Kurt takes his time to stroke down the side of Blaineâs cheek, then leaves a barely-there kiss on his jaw. Blaine blushes and his lips part, in desire or shock Kurt may never know, but the way he squeezes his hands tighter around Kurt is definitely a good sign.
âOh god, Kurt, Iâll never get used to you talking dirty,â Blaine sucks in a sharp breath, and Kurt feels something pressing against his butt, knowing well enough that itâs not a bar of soap. Â
âAlways this surprised tone,â Kurt flirts, before turning all his body to Blaine, and kissing him properly, desperately, forgetting all about the rule of not-splashing-the-water just as Blaine grabs his face and kisses back.
Nurse
NC-17, 850 words, nurse!kurt patient!blaine masturbation
Kurt makes himself a coffee. Thankfully, with the combined effort of all the nurses, they were able to buy a coffee machine for their unit, otherwise itâd be awfully hard to stay alert all through his night shift without the energy that caffeine provides.
